i use this addon not just for internet links, but also for local files (using file:/// etc). the only problem is that the options allow you to add and delete entries, but not to edit them. and for local files, of course the icons have to be edited in prefs.js by hand.
but, hey, you can't be perfect. the addon does its basic stuff very well.

this has suddenly stopped working in ff 18. actually, ff18 messed up a lot of file saving activity, so it may not be the fault of this addon.
without this addon, by the way, i am bereft! i use it all the time, at least until it crashed. bring it back!

I love it, and thank the developer. I would only ask for one enhancement: to have a context menu for the addon. I hate going to the big orange button.
