The service of monetization (the "Service") helps to keep the module free thanks to advertising. If you do not want to be targeted by ads, you can install the paid version of the module.
The manager of the service, Alter-Net, is specialized in customized ads : you certainly prefer see something that interests you rather than a random ad that does not affect you ... These inserts are clearly identified by their title: "Hot Deal".

For operating purposes, this module enables the gathering of a number of non-personal data, including your public IP address and your browsing data, stored for a maximum of three years, to compile statistics and optimize ads distribution, directly or through research programs.
