It doesn't work to me on Firefox 24.
I put the cursor in a text box, I select one entry of submenu but nothing.

This is an obsolete extension. In last versions of Thunderbird (> 6) doesn't work.

Great! It works in Firefox 3.0.3 under Ubuntu Hardy.
