SweetSearch is the best search engine for use in the classroom and for student use at home. This search engine uses trusted technology to search only those sites chosen by the expert researchers at Dulcinea Media, the same people who created findingDulcinea.com and encontrandoDulcinea.com. The sites searched by SweetSearch include reference, library, government, and other credible sources, it is a great tool for students to use for research papers or to learn more about a topic studied in class. Teachers using the search engine will find reliable supplemental information for in class lessons.
To switch your default firefox search box to SweetSearch:
1. Download the SweetSearch add on
2. In the upper right corner of your firefox browser, you will see a search box. To the left of the search box is a logo (default is google) and next to the logo is an arrow, click on this arrow to see a complete list of your search options.
3. If SweetSearch was downloaded correctly, you will see it as one of your search options, choose it.
4. SweetSearch should now be your default search for your firefox search box. You'll know you have selected SweetSearch by the logo next to the box.
