thats whar i'm looking for.
you can choose between "traffic-counter" and "down/up-rate" in the statusbar.
i prefer traffic-counter.
i did not notice a difference between firefox with or without this addon. firefox is as fast as before and i use 35addons.

nice tool. i'm a only user.don't know how to develope a addon :-/
1 suggestion: wouldn't it be better if the user sets the downloadvalue?
2 assessment: it doesn't work for every provider -> suggestion 1
