This is great calendar add-on! I really like the "Today Pane". This calendar is fast, versatile and simple in use and to add events, much better than Outlook!! Is also very easy to create/change different calendar types, each with customizable color.
I used already different calendar apps, incl Outlook, but I like this most!!!
Only thing who is missing a bit for some people, I suppose, the ability to create "e-mail" reminders!? Or even SMS reminders, but concerning SMS there is an payment issue.

Great: add what is missing in Thunderbird concerning junk-mail, including an important toolbar button "mark as not junk" (available), who is as important as the "mark as junk button" when the adaptive junk mail controls are enabled in TB.
