Pro with 13 years of experience, and have provided technical support, training, network security, and disaster recovery best practices solutions to individuals, small businesses, and major corporations. This extension is pretty helpful, generally reducing memory usage by 40-60 percent - depending on how you configure MemoryFox and the number of other extensions you have running.
Sites that use Flash extensively will cause the most memory consumption and CPU utilization.
Memory Fox is very good, and like the author states openly, NOT a magic bullet. It is a helper, not a cure - and it does this very well.
Properly configured, it should double the time you can use your browser without a restart on a RAM limited system.
