There are different utilities where you need to enter specific information about a part of content (which has to be recognized) on an exact page. With this extension you can get the data separately or at a time. It's very useful.

It's very useful in applying some font characteristics to another place. You can get what you look for, copy it and then use it as you wish.

I agree that you can find info using Firebug but with this extension is much easier.

You can get all returned data from Firebug. However some people have no idea what Firebug is so Fond Finder is good for them.

You can get the info about any font on the page through Firebug but this tool gives you all the data collected and listed in groups. I like this option for changing the font of the entire page.

After not close pop-up window, font-analyzer won't work anymore until restart firefox! It's stupid bug. Very annoying. Best addon in this class though.

PLEASE update. It used to work great, but not anymore. This is a great add-on when it works. Used to be a 5 start add-on, not anymore. The dialog box won't even pop up any more to display the information the app promises. Other times, it tells me I have more than one thing selected (which I never do). Fix it please.

It seems that the add-on doesn't save the substitutions that we have made.

With Firefox 22 having a "What The Font" capability - https://hacks.mozilla.org/2013/04/developer-tools-update-firefox-22/ - I'm debating on officially ceasing development of this addon. I've been trying to figure out the "only works once" bug for over a year, but it aludes me.

Do you think the new Developer Tools feature makes this addon obsolete, or should I continue development?
