Merci, depuis l'arrêt de gContactSync en version 72, je n'arrivais pas à synchoniser mes contacts
Ce module fonctionne très bien et me "sauve la vie"

Excellent addon!
Depuis le passage à TB78.5.1, les adresses des correspondants connus ne s'affichent plus lors de l'écriture de l'adresse email dans le champ "Pour". Son on désactive CardBook, cela revient. Une régression en changeant de version ?

Bonjour,
je trouve super ce module thunderbird et l'utilise depuis des années.
Cependant, depuis la dernière grosse mise à jour de Thunderbird (78.5.0) en 64 bits, je dois à chaque démarrage, réimporter mon carnet d'adresses.
Ce qui est laborieux car je ne dois pas oublier d'exporter mon carnet si j'ajoute des contacts maintenant.
Je n'ai pas trouvé comment résoudre ce problème.

Bonjour
vous avez sûrement un gros problème de profil Thunderbird... Si vous avez des erreurs relatives a l'utilisation de IndexedDB dans les logs de Thunderbird (CTRL+SHIFT+J) au demarrage de Thunderbird... votre seule issue est de creer un nouveau profil (thunderbird.exe -p) sinon envoyez moi un email (cardbook@cardbook.icu)

I've used this extension to keep my iCloud contacts synced with my Windows PC for several years. It is easy to use and works flawlessly. Far superior to the native address book. Thank you Philippe.

Sehr gutes Adressbuch, vor allem können die Adressdaten mit div. Online-Diensten gesynct werden. Sync mit Google-Adressen klappt problemlos - sehr schön, nach dem gContactSync mit der akt. TB Version nicht mehr funktioniert.

Bonjour, l'extension a l'air très sympa et a le gros avantage de fontionner sur TB 78 et semble ainsi pouvoir remplacer gContactSync qui ne fonctionne plus en TB 78.
Ce qui m'empêche de migrer vers Carbook pour l'instant (et vers TB 78 par conséquent) est la gestion des listes/catégories depuis mes comptes Google. J'ai vu les messages qui indiquaient le bug dans la gestion de vCard par Google, mais je ne comprends pas pourquoi il n'est pas possible que Cardbook le contourne alors que gContactSync a pu le faire.
Merci aux développeurs de bien vouloir faire le point sur la situation.

Great add-on. Since I can only sort on one field, I decided to use the display name function formula to edit the entire address book and just sort on the display name.
Changed the code to update the display info with Family Given else Corporation.
Works like a charm. But when I sync with Google contacts there are several that revert back to the default display name. If I attempt to manually edit any of them, they change and attempt to sync but fail and revert to default display name. Still a great add on.

The problem with version 53.2 has been resolved promptly with an update. I am still trying to understand the advantages of the vCard standard over the one already in Thunderbird. vCard doesn't seem to have caught on.

vCard allows you to have unlimited email addresses, physical addresses and phone numbers. It is also a bit more customizable...

Sorry to report that version 53.6 broke the interface again, It only happens under 150% Windows scale (125% scale works fine though). I cannot resize the window and it starts up always slightly outside of the desktop on the upper-left side. Version 53.5 was working fine.

Update: problem still present with version 53.7.

Update: problem still present with version 53.9.

Update: problem still present with version 54.0.

Update: problem still present with version 54.4.

Update: stopped tracking the problem after version 54.4, using 125% scale as a solution.

Today the addon stopped working. The icon disapperd from the menu and completion of addresses does not work. In addons menu it shows that its installed. Restart did not help.
I have version 5.3.4

V53.2 and 53.4 doesn't work (under windows?)
The window is getting higher, than the monitor is. In vertical rotation it's ok, but i don't work so at my notebook...

after going back to V52.6 - it's running with 5 stars ;-)

Dissappear all data after update...!!!
I cannot see any address book!

Excellent extension!

Provides a much needed upgrade to contacts for Thunderbird. Well done Phillppe and thank you. A donation will be made.

Now Thunderbird is rounded out with the addition of calendar and contacts. Goodbye Outlook and others.
