Working great for me with TB 3.1.2, Lightning 1.0b2. I have six google calendars with the experimental caching on, plus one local calendar for entering events when offline - once online I change the calendar across to one of the online ones and it all works very smoothly.

AWESOME! I can finally update my calendar from Lighting again.
Just for that, 5 stars (any bugs are minor compared to not being able to edit my events from my desk)

Funciona muy bien, una vez configurado sincroniza los calendarios de google y thunderbird perfectamente.
Si usas thunderbird con lightning, es imprescindible para mantener tu calendario online y poder acceder desde todos tus ordenadores.

An additional feature that would be great is if this ext would handle webcal, ical, etc and send it to Thunderbird/Lightning or Sunbird or even via gCal

I always use "security -> password" in Thunderbird to passwordprotect my e-mail. But since I installed the (exellent) add-on "Provider for Google Calendar" Thunderbird always asks for the password twice. Is there anyway you can solve this bug? Otherwise the program syncs my Google Calendar perfectly! Really a great add-on in combination with "Lightning" (add-on).

Good addon but really unfortunately it does not support current version of SunBird.

Once installed and configured it works like a charm. I was little stumped at first because I'm still new to Thunderbird. Thunderbird opens my Firefox to get the plug in and then Firefox tries to install it into itself.
Once I found the way to install into Thunderbird it installed just fine.
Then I had to figure out how to link my Google calender. Following the instructions on the http://wiki.mozilla.org/Calendar:GDATA_Provider site helped me to configure the plug in for my calendar. The https tip worked great and allows me to edit my Google calendar without having to launch a browser.
Great plug in.

I love this addon, it is almost a requirement for lightning, however some changes have bothered me.
This forces me to send invitations from the gmail account associated with my calendar for some reason. I keep my work calendar on gmail, and people that I invite to events find it strange that I am not using my work email to send them an invite. There appears to be no way to select the account to send invitations from. This plugin needs some options.
Thanks for fixing the google calendar invite-link crazyness, it now is back to sending a good ol' invite attachment.

Major bug with TB 3.1, lightning 1.0b2 and Provider 0.7 - no alarms will work.
Editing the event won't save any details (Category, Alarm, etc).
I did try deleting and re-adding the calendar, still no alarms...
Still giving 5 stars because when it works, it works very well...

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Downloaded both the version for Lightening (for T-bird & Sundbird, but like the Sunbird best.) Great add-on.

Freezes Thunderbird for me. Same thing on Sunbird. Too bad, because that makes Lightning/Sunbird useless to me. There's a bug, but someone marked it invalid. I'd really love to have this functionality, so if it gets fixed that would be awesome!

Great product and I use it every day connected to my business. I'm a Mac guy however I just don't like iCal . Sunbird and Google Calendar are just perfect for me. I've just give Philipp Kewisch $10

I have been using this for about a month and just when I was ready to rely on it full-time, I started finding tat the calendar is getting reliable updates from the Google calendar.
Sometimes the calendar is blank, other times I see items but get errors when I add, edit or delete entries. the only views that seem to work are for "today" and "this month"
going to a future month does nothing, the calendar doesn't even refresh.
I realize that this is Beta software and I appreciate the effort, but it has a long way to go in terms of reliability. What is the time table for the next beta or RC ?
