Does Provider work with 3.0.3 - some say yes, others say no. When I clicked to download the update, I got a message saying that provider and the nightly updater will not work with 3.0.3. What I have is working, I don't want to mess it up. Any thoughts?

Like David0422 I cannot get Google Sunbird Addon 0.6b1. I now work with the latest nightly built 1.0b2pre for Macs. I guess I will have to wait for the addon to be upgraded. I probably upgraded too fast. Now I cannot connect to my Google Calendar anymore..

Provider for Google Calendar 0.6b1 не может быть установлено, так как оно не совместимо с Thunderbird 3.0b3.

This does work fine. The only issue I had was following the exact directions to add the calendar. Make sure to do that!
Updates either calendar (Google Calendar or Lightning) very quickly. Also, it has allowed me to do multiple calendars from google.

It *does* work with thunderbird 3.0.3. I downloaded and installed it on TB 3.0.3 this morning and tested it out. Works fine.

I've followed the instructions at

using Thunderbird 3.01, Provider 0.6b1 and Lightning 1.0b1, but I can't get it to work. I get the error message:
"The calendar foobar is momnetarily not available"

What gives?

J'ai un peu planché pour la configuration mais cela fonctionne parfaitement chez moi (thunderbird 3 + lightning 1). Ajout d'un évènement sur mon Iphone, un coup de synchro et çà s'est automatiquement répercuté sur Google agenda et Lightning... Test inverse OK également.

I don't see an immediate need for this app whatsoever, you can sync and see Google Calendar already without the need of an add-on... Google Calendar is in many formats, TB allows iCal for new Calendars...

Tihis is a great addon for my Sunbird and Google Calendar. Really great work!!!

I have a suggestion for another Feature. Maybe you can add a Daily SMS, where all tasks and appointments are summarized. The SMS will be sended the day before. I don't know the Google API/SDK/whatever, but hopefully this is possible.

Hello all
( TB 3.0.1 + Google Agenda 6.01b )
All was perfect until ... I have to reinstall TB.
In my TB Agenda I had only the names of my agendas and the links were bad.
Now I have no more events on my google agendas.
What means for this extension the term 'bi-directionnal"
Is it possible I deleted the events in google during syncronization ?
If yes, is there a solution to recovery the google agendas ?

I cannot use this to accept emailed meeting.ics invitations from Outlook. If I save the invitation I can import it, but depending on the settings of the invitation it will submit a new meeting request to all of the invitees. Use at your own risk.

Version 0.6b1 of Provider for Google Calendar does not work/install on Sunbird 0.9 but through messing around with older versions of Provider I found that version 0.5.5 does work with the latest version of Sunbird. Here is a drop-box link for your convenience.
