One of the best addons!
After updating Firefox to 3.5, option "open in last tab" dosn't work . It just a empty page. opening new tab opens Speed Dial. Please fix it.

Muy útil, aunque para mi gusto le hace falta que se pueda personalizar más, por ejemplo que se pudieran escoger imágenes para las páginas.

Absolutely awesome!
At first I didn't know what to make of it. I don't know why since it is very easy to use. But I stuck with it and then I realized how powerful it really is.
It has basically taken the place of my bookmarks. It's easier to use and more "visual" than fetching bookmarks from all over the place.
Set it as your default home page and you can create several pages of links according to your needs. This is a must have for anyone using FF.

Speed Dial is a great add-on. It just needs to be graphically enhanced. It doesn't look that great.

It's a great idea to "see" our bookmark with these little thumbnails. For me, one thing is missing : to have a tab which fills with the websites we often visit.

I set my wife up and she absolutely positively loves it. I did come across one small problem.
The group set up is 3 x 3 and we had 3 groups set up. We tried to change one group to a 4 x 4 setting and it brought all the subsequent groups into the 1st group. So group 3 had nothing
in it. I could not figure out how to get around it. Had to go back to a backup to fix it. Would be a great feature to have the group restart the number at one(1). Could hurt the Control + # feature but at least one group could be 4x4 and the others 3x3.
Otherwise, Super Super Super ADD-ON.

Have you ever tried "New Tab JumpStart" (Chromium's) or "Opera"s New Tab features? If not you should since they both are far more easier to configure compared to configuration mania of Speed Dial...
Since Chromium's New Tab is already there as other addon, can you consider adding Opera's simplistic approach of New Tab to Speed Dial where it's just click and select either bookmark, history or "current tabs". Many options the Speed Dial provides is good yet inconveniently time consuming...
Although Speed Dial has many options, only one is necessary: the website address; you type that in, click OK, and no need to specify anything else, unless you want to!
Anyways, I understand your point of view, and I'll try to do something about it in the future, so a simpler interface is shown, but advanced configuration is also available.

I'm a MAC user, and I loved this feature with Safari, and I'm glad it's now an add-on for my favorite browser.
Everything works alright, maybe in the future versions you can work a little on appearance. (Maybe something like the Beta Safari's version?) Not that the current look isn't good, varies from what theme you're using for Firefox.
One thing I really wanted to request though, if not possible already. For the Set Launch dial. I was wondering for when you set it to a file, maybe something like a Text file, if it could show you a preview for that file. Let you scroll through the whole thing like the thumbnails for web pages. I'd find that very useful. I think others might find that useful as well, if not just a handy feature.
I agree that the appearance could be better. The best would be to add Speed Dial themes/skins. It's in my to-do list for future releases.
As for your problem, after using the "Set Launch dial", I suggest that you enable the "Make thumbnail from" option from "Edit dial", use the "browse" button to locate that text file (or any file that can be rendered by Firefox without plugins), and set the "Scaling" in the "Layout" tab to "Fit horizontal". Unfortunately, Firefox can't make thumbnails of plugins.

i think it's very good and usefull add-on, now i can't use IE thanks to speed dial ^^
but sometimes i have a problem, when i start speed dial i have :

The error you described is caused by Tab Mix Plus session manager. I suggest that you disable it from TMP settings panel, and use the one that comes in Firefox.

Great addon but I cant use it anymore. For some reason my Gmail account does not load in the window. If I click on the windows that I assigned to it, it loads gmail in another tab.
Any ideas?
I suggest that you edit the dial, and enable the "Make thumbnail from" option with the following web address:
http://mail.google.com/mail/h/
The non-javascript version of Gmail will be used for the thumbnail, while the full one will open when clicking the dial.
I've plans for specific Gmail support in future versions of Speed Dial.

I love so many of the Firefox add-ons, actually I think I have too many sometimes. This is so great, I just love the multiple tabs. I have it set to my homepage with my personal tabs and then separated all of my other stuff. It was great when I set up my sis's Firefox browser, she is Internet illiterate. Now she can find everything she wants and some of the Internet intimidation has left her! Forget the bookmarks!
