It’s convenient to be able to translate instantly with a button after opening an email, but it’s a shame that the translation failed due to the error "Translation error: Google Translate HTTP 429."

Sorry for the inconvenience — the translation worked fine at first, but in August 2026 Google blocked the endpoint parameter the add-on relied on, which caused this exact "HTTP 429" error for everyone, not just this add-on.

The fixed version (1.0.3) has already been submitted and is currently being reviewed by the Thunderbird review team. It will update automatically once approved.
