A very good add-on, but extremely unreliable - some days it'll work fine, others fine for a while and then bring up the time out error, and others it'll refuse to connect at all. Would easily be 5 stars if this was fixed. (and would also happily contribute too)

Exact same problem - Gmail Manager 0.5.7.4 - Firefox 3.5.3. Email messages at 0; does not login to gmail accounts.

Just now i've noticed a problem too.
left Clicking on the gmail manager, which usually brings up a gmail tab which will load and login automatically, now brings me to the gmail login page, with the username filled in as '@gmail.com' and nothing in the password.
It does not automatically log me in.
Recently before, I have noticed sometimes it does not keep current and inform me of emails.

I have to report the same problem as the latest reviewers - in the last 3 days the addon did not work for me. I have FF 3.5.2 and GM 0.5.7.4.
It appears to log in but it shows 0 messages although the inbox has unread messages.

I had the same problem.
I fix it,using opendns.
Now it all works perfect! :)

I used this add-on for as long as I can remember but for the last two days, it will not show me any emails. I can log out all and it will be gray and I can login all and it will show red. There are emails in my accounts, but gmail manager does not show them. I have UN and RE installed the addon, but it still doesn't work. :(

Yesterday i faced a problem...when i start mozilla,gmail manager is logging in without problem,but when i click on it, to see my mail , it redirects me to a page that cannot be loaded http://www.google.mk/accounts/SetSID.....
is this a Google problem or a Gmail manager problem? i haven't changed anything in the settings,the problem occured by its own...can someone help?

I love this add-on...as long as it works. I have it installed on two PCs. XP Pro on both, yet on one of them it refuses to log in to Gmail. Even uninstalling everything (Firefox along with my profile and all addons) and reinstalling Firefox with only Gmail Manager didn't fix the problem. If anyone has any ideas, please opine.

Gmail may have updated the codes, most 3rd parties checkers doesn't work, including Gmail Manager.

Seems to have something to do with Gmail's captcha ... once you individually log into all your accounts, it works. If you close your browser/clear your cookies, you have to start all over again.
This is an awesome add-on ... hope it works again SOON!

This is a great addon, however like many other people over the last month it has not been working on all platforms. WinXP w/ Firefox 3.5.x has been fine. Win Vista w/ 3.5.x it has not worked. It did work before upgrading Firefox on Vista, w/ the old 3.0.x version of Firefox.

Gmail manager = 0.5.7.2 (and updated today to .3)
This has been working for years, but stopped updating the unread mail count since August 2009. I was waiting for an update, but this current one did not fix this issue.
Also, in the past, clicking on the account would bring up a new tab with the acct open. Now, it only brings up the gmail login page.
I see that other people have the same issue. Can a developer address this issue? The product is great when it's working!
