I thought I might rate this and report a bug at the same time.
Rating: 4/5. Does what it is supposed to do, which rocks!
Bug: When opening pdf file I have to hit Alt in order for them to properly display. There could be other reasons for this occurance, but it seems somewhat likely that the add-on causes a conflict.

Personally I use CompactMenu as not only can you use Alt but also click an icon button for a dropdown of all the menus. But this is a great addon that really suits the new interface guidelines of Windows7.
@Frank Jones you can "reset default" in "customize toolbar"

Some suggestions for improvement:
- option to choose own key or key-combination
- same function for the bookmarks-toolbar
(now using Bookmark Autohider, but that's with
hover... and this is disturbing often!)
- same function for Statusbar
(now using autoHideStatusbar - based on hover 2)
- maybe an option wether you w working ant use key-press
or hover would be cool...
- Button to hide/unhide each bar

DO NOT INSTALL THIS!
Works fine, but when I uninstalled program, the menu bar continued to remain hidden. Hitting the "alt" tab no longer worked. Reinstalled plugin. Hitting "alt" tab still no longer works. AAAAARGH ! A program that permanently screws up firefox !

i thought teh previous version was buggy as u had 2 pess the alt key about 5 times. now it works perfectly!!

The new version does not work well with Personal Menu add-on 4.2.0+ (which was released prior to this version of addon). If Personal Menu is enabled, I cannot hide/unhide the menu anymore. A workaround would be disabling Personal Menu, then I can hide the menu, then I need to re-enable Personal Menu again.

Works great. Who needs the menubar most of the time anyway? I use it maybe once a day. The space and minimalism is more important.

This is super-useful for netbooks. It saved me a whole bunch of precious vertical pixels which makes web browsing a lot more practical on my little netbook. Great addon!
