great add-on with all one needs to make quick reminders. Especially good to remind on websites with auto fill of the website adress (+ context menu on right click on the website). Lots of customization possibilities and settings.
It's really easy to use, bugs free and it has a good support forum. All my 4 thumbs up!!!
Donation absolutely justified.

Your suggestion below was appreciated and understood, but when I attempted to import from the profiles it reported back "import failed".
However, I then removed the upgraded version (2.1.5.2.1) and reverted back to the older version 2.1.5.1 and this time the import succeeded.
Seems I must stop future upgrades or I will again face problems I could do without.

When uninstalling this addon it will leave useless files in your profile folder. Unless you're an expert and notice they will remain there forever and bloat your profile/Harddisk.

I would like to know if it will work with the Beta version 36.10? I can see by the reviews that it seems to be a good add-on and I would like to use it.

I run Win 8.1 Pro on an ASUS Z-87 mobo with an i5 4670 CPU and 8 GB RAM. I've been using this add-on for years and found it great. The last update evidently lost most of my data - all the new reminders from the update onwards, and about 95% of my old data. Not only that, the 3 auto-back up files only contain the same information! Not good.

UPDATE Jan. 07 2015 Five hours ago I restored Reminderfox using a 2 mo. old backup file - and again began using it to see what would happen. Just now I found that that file had again lost all its data. I don't know what's going on, but it isn't good!

UPDATE Apr. 21, 2015 Since my last review update Reminder Fox has lost all it's data at least 3-4 times. The last time was just now. I was actually setting a reminder to manually back it all up every 3-4 days, but it's too much hassle. So now it's good bye Reminder Fox and hello Google Calendar and Win 8 'One Calendar'. They don't lose data and play nice with one another.

I donated a few years ago because I found this add-on quite nice.
But ... since the very first update, I've only run into problems with the loss of all my datas with each update.
So I am fed up, I stop with Reminder!

J'ai fait un don il y a quelques années parce que je trouvais cette extension très sympa.
Mais... depuis la toute première mise à jour, je n'ai fait que rencontrer des problèmes dont la perte de toutes mes données à chaque mise à jour.
Alors ras-le-bol, j'arrête tout !

Sorry for the problems! This might have been an issue with the particular localized version of the add-on. I personally verified that the latest version 2.1.5.2 works properly with the French locale. In any case, sorry to see you go, but I do appreciate your feedback and support through the years.

Good add-on but you should make it better localizable. There are some hardcoded English strings, especially those in the options.xul which are clearly visible in the preferences panel.

Which language locale are you using? I'll take a look at the options.xul and see if we can get some updated translations.

RF is a great add on! Since latest update I've got a serious functionality problem: no alarms pop any more, neither if they are due nor when launching FF after their due time. Quick alarms work, though. Not even downgrading to 2.5.1 helps...

On initial Thunderbird startup, the alarm sounds but the ReminderFox window doesn't display (to show missed reminders etc.) I have to restart Thunderbird in order to show the ReminderFox window.

Unfortunately, the extension does not work with the Developer and the Nightly version. The data source is not read and you can not manually import the data as well. Please fix this error, then I will give you 5 Stars .. thank you

I have been experiencing issues with the extension for a long time. It sometimes states that the dates are overlapping when they are not.

ReminderFox Alert:

Overlapping Dates!
Check the Reminder Date Span (Start to End Date) with the selected 'Repeat' selection.

Settings:
Reminders
All day
Start: October 18 2014
End: October 20 2017
Repeat Biweekly (Every other Saturday)
Categories: Misc
Important
Remind daily until complete

I was attempting to edit a previous reminder to change the day/date, moving it back a day to the day before. Set for an advanced date. ReminderFox does not seem to like it.

Other than this it is excellent.
