I also don't know how to sort folders,
The Manually Sort Folders addon was easy to use, so
Also, I hope it works with Thunderbird v115.

I don't understand how to sort now with "edit", Edit what? Edit where? Thanks.

This add-on is not necessary anymore because with Thunderbird 115 you can easily move/sort your folders.

Edit:
Reordering the folders or accounts
from
example_C@example.com
example_A@example.com
example_B@example.com
to
example_A@example.com
example_B@example.com
example_C@example.com

Do you mean accounts rather than folders? Then it's possible from Thunderbird 91.
Unfortunately, 115 still cannot move/sort folders.

Edit:
Okay. You mean about accounts, not folders.

This addon served me well since thunderbird 68. It looks like at least a part of this functionality has been incorporated into thunderbird 115, as you can now reorder account folders by dragging accounts up and down under "Account Settings" (under the "Edit" menu in Linux). Menu bar can be accessed by pressing Alt if it is hidden.

Thank you and congratulations for your work with this Thunderbird module. It really is a must have! :)
Is an update for version 115 planned?

115 is completely different from the past, so I don't know if it's possible to adapt to it yet. I am Investigating now.

Приложение отличное, но, к сожалению, не работает в 114*. А очень хочется, чтобы работало.

Спасибо!

Would be 5* if the Authors explained why they need so high level of trust from the users...
"Required permissions for core functionality:
Have full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird, and your computer"

A blog below explains it clearly.

https://hogiblog.blogspot.com/2020/09/access-permissions-of-add-ons.html

This add-on also uses WebExtension Experiments and will be notified of Case 2 full access requests.

This add-on does not do or need full access. But it uses a conventional mechanism that allows full access. And such add-ons always generate such warnings.

Makes me happy.

Does what it says it does.

For those folks who are having trouble finding the "tools" menu: its *not* the hamburger menu; its the old "tools" menu in the window header.

To get it to show (on windows) press and release the Alt key in Thunderbird; the top level File / Edit / View / etc bar will show at the top of the window. You want Tools -> Manually Sort Folders.

After sorting eml, rss-feeds, etc accounts , this addon may be removing destination folder specified in Message Filter rules , so filtering stops , Inbox and Bulk/Spam/Junk etc folders start to accumulate unfiltered emails/messages.
I've sent a notification eml to author.
When/if fixed i will change the rating.
I think those who have only few eml accounts in TB, it works there only.

Does not show my accounts in order to re-order them

If this happens in compact view, it is a Thunderbird bug, that will be fixed in Thunderbird 109.
