One of the most useful essentials!
Cheers!!!

This addon is just great!! I found only one small problem, in most cases it does show the 301 and 302 redirects, but when a site redirects the same URL from HTTP to HTTPS it does not. I don't see the 301 or 302 headers, I only see a 200 OK response.

Five stars for this awesomeness.
I tried a similar extension for Google Chrome, but only found something incredibly unstable with bad handling on top of it. Only Opera included a HTTP header sniffer in its Dragonfly developer utility, but since that version of the browser won't receive any updates anymore, Live HTTP headers looks to be the only solution that works conveniently from within a browser.
Great stuff, I'll start using it more and more in the future as I phase the old Opera out.

I love this extension. It is great for debugging websites and setting what headers are specifically being sent and received. It is also useful to spy on various extensions and see how often they "phone home" or are working the way they are designed to.

Pros:
- Save entire request/response transaction to a file.
- Integration with "Page Info" window.
- You can turn off capturing and turn on when you want.
Cons:
- Header Generator is a little confusing.
- Doesn't bring dinosaurs back.

For those who didn't notice, last FF update (18) broke the addon (not the other way around). Just tried using FF 19 beta and addon works well with it, so just use the beta or wait for a stable new release :)
(and removing http and https doesn't solve the issue as we don't get a 400 error, but the custom headers are ignored anyway) Awesome addon btw (installed on my FF since first release)

this addon not working well with ff18,while replaying a request it failed to add host, useragent, accept, cookie headers in the request ,as a result from the server HTTP CODE 400 Bad Request.
developers please update the addon

I love this tool - so handy. However, I've recently moved from Windows XP to Windows 7, and also upgraded to Firefox 16.1. Not sure whether I'm just being stupid or if there really is no link for Live HTTP Headers from the Firefox menu. Would really like to open this up as a new tab.

When I request a directory from a server without ending / the server redirects (http status code 301) me to the same named location with an ending /
eg.: host/dir ==> host/dir/
This 301 redirection headers (and maybe others) does not appear in the headers tab by default but shows up when the request is edited (after clicking the appropriate button) and re-executed...

Love it for SSO implementations, whether it's through a portal or homegrown.

Conflicts with Firebug such that elements on pages in Firebug are unable to be selected. Disabling this add on fixed the problem. I only used this add-on occasionally and is kind of outdated these days with other tools available.

Fantastically good. Enables me to dubug my and other's forms and see the follow of 'traffic'. This enables me to view the https traffic where, previously I was trying to use Wireshark, I could only fault find my http traffic.

This plugin makes troubleshooting website problems so much simpler! It gives you all the information, right at your finger tips. I use this to find hidden redirects, broken image and link locations, among other things I can't think of right now. I can't imagine doing tech support without it!

Incredibly useful if you're wondering what response codes are being sent by a web server. You can see them in real-time. Useful for making sure you're own sites are working correctly.
