Works as expected in TB 10.0.0.2/WIN, but shows very annoying behavior in TB 11*/WIN.
There, when TB is closed via taskbar context menu, all of a sudden 2 TB icons appear in system tray (seems like two instances of TB are started). Icons even survive reboot, only solution is deactivate addon, restart TB, reactivate TB, restart TB.
Again, this is totally annoying and I would appreciate if this addon would be maintained and updated.

But when Thunderbird is restored, its menus are missing from the Unity Global menu. Running a fully updated Ubuntu 12.04.
Workaround was to reinstall thunderbird-globalmenu from syntapic.

Works perfectly in Firefox 11.0.
If it would allow a user-defined kotkey that minimizes Firefox (a boss-key) then it would be perfect.
The keyboard shortcurt [ALT]+[SPACE] + [N] is not working for me because [ALT]+[SPACE] is used by an other app.
A single key like [F12] would be faster.

Wonderful! Mail runs quietly off to the side always ready at your fingertips.
One of the few addons I ever use. It's a wonder this functionality has not been bilt in after all these years. Thank you for reviving this project for the new Thunderbird versions!

Works as designed and it is very useful. I used to use Opera Mail that had a tray icon. Now, after switching to Thunderbird, this was a must. Little Bug: Thunderbirds lets you detach a single tab and display it elsewhere (in my case: a second screen). Once you do this, you'll find two tray Icons and won't be able to shut down either of the two windows properly until you disable the AddOn, restart thunderbird, shut down the second window, reactivate the AddOn and restart over. Occurred on Ubuntu 11.04 with Gnome 2.32.1
