This is a great addon. Having Firefox minimize to your system tray gives a clean look to your start bar, and frees up plenty of room for your other opened programs. If you frequently have multiple programs open at once, I suggest checking this addon out.
To Netcaptor,
I Had that problem a few times and I came to the conclusion that it was not this addon making that happen, but it was having a multiple monitor setup.

Everything working greatly except, if you Minimized to tray and quit firefox, next time you start firefox, you'll see no firefox main windows but only firefox on taskbar, is it me only? Please check. Thanks!

Does exactly what it's supposed to: can configure to minimize TB to tray with either/or minimizing and closing.
I just hope they can keep up with Thunderbird's incessant updating!

The addon does what it's supposed to.
Is it possible to add a mode where Firefox is always just showing in the systray? That is, never shows up on the taskbar, minimized or not.

Very good add-on.
you could implement the application startup when the computer is directly minimized?
It would be perfect for thunderbird

With the ability to avoid closing downthemall accidentally and keep it and firefox running in the background, this add-on is a gem.

As the old minimize to tray, this addon works very well and saves a lot of space at my tiny netbook. Thanx a lot!

Great module. I am using it for years now!
Lacks the "start on user logon" and "minimize on start-up" offered byt the previous version (before reviving).

For those, who are currently having problems with TBird 7, i just found a little workaround:
If M2Tray stops working, just open the TBird-Window, then double-click on the TBird-TrayIcon.
After the Icon vanishes, M2Tray should be working again.
At least it does for me (Win7 64) ;-)

Someone under this comment is talking BS stars
by greh on September 27, 2011 #
The update to TB 7.0 does not brake this add-on, don't talk BS, ok. I just updated it 5 minutes ago on my laptop, and works perfectly.
----------------------------------------------
Speaking of BS, get a clue. The upgrade did "break" it (learn to spell) on my machine and three other people that I know. All four of us running Windows XP, SP3. But after a system reboot, it started working again. So unbunch your panties and realize your experience with the upgrade to 7.0 is not indicative of the other thousands of users that may or may not have suffered this inconvenience. Pfft.

Bug on TB 7 Win 7: some times thunderbird doesn't go to tray, the "close" button dont work and tray icon is present. On clicking on tray icon they disappear and thunderbird can be minimized.
Also, context menu doesn't work at all.
