Why does this only say it works with Firefox? I'm using this exact addon file for firefox and thunderbird.
Thanks for this, I love it!

1 star because there has been no updates.

System tray options should be an integral part of Thunderbird!!!
I would also like the option for TB to start in the tray at windows logon.

It doesn't work with the last release of Firefox; I'm thinking of going back to the previous release of the program. Plase, update Minimize-to-tray as soon as possible.

If you're a rabid screen real estate saver (like me) you'll love it.
Still waiting for a FireFox 3-compatible update though...

Any plans to update this for Firefox 3 Beta 5 and later? It\'s a great app.

kornfan, this happened to me because another installed addon received an update. i disabled that addon, restarted tbird, then re-enabled that addon and restarted once more - now min2tray works again.

Excellent add-on. One improvement would be to have the mail notification box automatically disappear whenever you click on an email listing and launch Thunderbird.
Currently, you have to separately close the notification box after launching Thunderbird. There is no need to have this additional step.

This is a fantastic plug-in, but I discovered recently that is clashes with ObjectDock. ObjectDock really dislikes this plug-in and has a tendency to freeze up while it's in use. It'd be great if this plug-in could be optimised for ObjectDock.

I downloaded this add-on for 2.0.0.12, set it up, and it worked perfectly. I restarted my computer, closed the Window, and Thunderbird didn't go to my tray. I opened up the settings again and magically the stuff I had checked were unchecked. Did the process again and again, unchecked after restarting.
Kind of a PITA.

I've been waiting for a long time for such a functionality as this... it's odd people have to write an add-on for something that should be in the software as a standard.

Excellent work and very easy to use.
One aspect for the next version: update the popup text when you mouseover the icon if the main window's title text has changed, as it does with pandora.
