It is good for viewing conversations, but hinders finding e-mails from a specific sender. Also, clicking on an e-mail in the conversation doesn't mark it 'read'.

The extension requires the use of a global inbox (which is impossible for me, for separation of work and play reasons), slows down the system, and does not do what it is advertised to do - The messages all look the same as before it was installed. Apparently does nothing, I am running a virus scan to make sure it is not just a malware installer.

It's a disaster! I upgraded and this add on almost drove me away from using Thunderbird. Just about given up using it and was about to switch to Googlemail instead. So awkward to use and means you have to click button after button. Please don't make it an install default, you will lose loads of users in the process. I think most people (I canvased the office by the way and 100% hated this) think it's just the 'new thunderbird' and you don't have a choice. Dear god - please never make it part of the main application.
Many thanks for allowing us to uninstall it and thanks for the lovely application.

When I reply in two text areas below the message. My default font doesn't be used and my signature doesn't be added.
I'm waiting for next version.

There are some goods and some bads with this extension. In the end I'm not going to use it currently because it disables some important functionality (or at least makes it more difficult to use said functionality). For instance, I don't find a way to delete or detach an attachment any longer. Also, message headers are as difficult to access as they are in Outlook. I think in the end they have simply gone too far in attempting to emulate gmail and have abandoned some of the unique abilities which made Thunderbird stand out.

Nearly perfect.
Ctrl (+shift) +R to reply (all) doesn't work after the addon installed. Or there are some other shortcut to reply which I don't know?

The install button is hidden under the gear thingie at the top of the page.
And this page itself is good, being able to edit the review.
What I want next is to be able to add things to the conversation, such as the UPS ship notification that pertains to the subject of the thread.

Very well done. The gap between gmail and my desktop just got narrower.

This is definitely one of the best addons for Thunderbird.

I liked,in a ceratin way,the previous version of it:the font size for reply was the same size of original message sent. Now,it's really, really tiny if you reply in the same window of adressee...You need specs to see exactly what you have wrote [if you want the normal font, the one you choose for Thunderbird composing, you have to use the "reply" voice implemented in Thunderbird itself].It's sped up, but still there is no implementation [again] of sending the return receipts if you're ask to do so [you have to go in the "more" voice in the upper-right corner of email, last voice, and select "use the classic reader"],and due to the add-on creator irk way answer to me when I ask to him why he didn't do it,it will never be.So,all things considered,if it will remain this way [tiny fonts and all],you can call it useless. We'll see.'Till then I will disable it.It's much better.

This is an excellent extension. Great to use, and its usefulness is beyond description.
Just one problem though, i had trouble sending attachments when using the quick reply space that was available below the email. There was absolutely no option to send an attachment with it ....

It has been getting better much faster than I had wished. :)
I've used it for a while now, and the issue I had mentioned in my comment for previous version has been taken care of. Highly recommend this add-on to all those who love gmail and it's conversation view and lots of other tiny little conveniences it offers.
Can't thank you enough mozjonathan!

This is the first time I've used it. It looks and feels great. It's just like the Gmail interface, but easier to manage, and on your computer.
Kudos to the developer!

I have been using Conversations for a while now, and I am loving it. I use Thunderbird mainly for Gmail, and guess what, I haven't opened Gmail in a browser in a long time now....Cheers, Mozilla !!!

Totally love the way Thunderbird Conversation displays your threads, just like in Gmail! Though there were some quirks initially, the dev has been working so actively on this add-on, bringing constant improvements! Now (at 2.1) it is almost flawless and beautiful! THANK YOU DEV! IMO, this should come as the standard TB interface! And for those that say we might as well use Gmail, don't forget that Thunderbird brings many excellent features such as Unified folders from multiple gmail accounts, PGP/SMIME, and so much more!
