I love this extension, but yesterday there was an update that lost all my folders. I don't know where it came from, but now I can't find any trace of it here. Fortunately, I had a backup of the QuickFolders extension folder and simply restored the old one. What happened?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.2).Hi, you probably noticed already this was a bug in the packaging of that release and Alex fixed it in version 0.9.2

I was in the middle of backing up my add-ons and I realized that I've never taken the time to say so but thanks for developing QuickFolders.
It's one of my favorite and most used Thunderbird add-ons.

What a great add-on! This is what TBird has really needed. I've always hated having to use the folder slide bar to navigate to a folder. Quickfolders makes it a breeze. Thanks to the developers.

That's the first addon to install, especially if your folder structure evolves in a real monster, like mine in last 5+ years. I can't live without that anymore.

Having a toolbar button for each of my most important folders has made working with email much easier and faster.
Thank you.

Along with Quickfile and Nostalgy, I would not be without this extension. I file emails in many folders, including in client folders. For the clients with a lot of email, I put their folder (actually a shortcut) on the QuickFolder bar and can then drag and drop without having to search for the folder. As a clients email volume decreases, I remove that name from the bar.
Another great function is that clicking on a name on the bar takes me to that folder immediately. I also put the Inbox as the first folder on the bar so I can instantly return to the inbox.
One other nice aspect is that I can change (shorten) the name of the folder on the bar even though I wish to leave the actual folder with a longer name.
