I also have a problem with the save dialogue box expanding to the right with each use. Any way to keep window size from auto changing?
Also the list of save directories does not update to "most recent' so sometimes you have to go way down the list to find a very recent save folder. Can this be changed?
Overall a marvellous addon!

This app saved me days worth of time. I could save every full sized image from a page in one click.

The window changes size as i use it, why is that? Any way to keep window size from auto changing? Seems to get wider to the right only. Highly annoying but still the best damn addon for mass image saving. Thanks!

love this add on for 32 bit FireFox but it currently does not work for Nightly. It always complains about not have write permission:
There was a problem saving the image(s).
You may not have permissions to write to the save folder or there is an error with the file name. Please check the permissions of the folder and check the file name options.

All in all a very nice and useful addon that works as intended.
One star deduction because under Linux, the save dialog only has a "Close" button. Which does the same as "Ok" under Windows. But there's no way to cancel the operation once the window is open.
Another star deduction because sometimes, it only saves a part of the open images and then shows an error message. Repeating the process until everything is saved will eventually get the job done, however.
Please will you export your "Save Images" options and email me the file to plashcor@gmail.com. Also, please give me the web addresses of the pages you are trying to save from
Can you please clarify what you mean. Do you mean that it only saves part of the image you are trying to save, or do you mean that it does not save all of the images in a web page or from multiple tabs. If from multiple tabs, how many tabs are you trying to save from and how many images in total.
Maybe, if you can, send me a screenshot of your open Firefox so I can better understand what is the problem.

Great plugin! It will be great if it can save images without the need to press hot keys or to click on the menu.
Auto Save will make it very useful for automation tasks. For example, in combination with selenium.

indispensable and never-failing in Windows on both firefox and palemoon, and unique in that. Plus you can rename it before saving, which especially in Ubuntu where you can't just batch rename on right click like in Windows saves lots of work. (Changed following developer's help with problem.)
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.0.1-signed).I have not tried Save Images in Ubuntu, only Linux Mint and all is working correctly. Could you setup Save Images in your Windows as you have it in Ubuntu and then export the settings and send them to me and I will try to see if there is a problem.

This is my personal favorite image saver addon for Firefox. No doubt it is a wonderful feature rich extension.
BUT the web doesn't stand still.
Many websites now start to use .webm movies instead of animated .gif files. And those little animated clip images which were able to be handled by this Addon are now missing.
I would really appreciate .webm support by this addon. So the addon would be able to handle and save .webm files like .gif files.

I had a problem where images were instantly deleted as soon as they were saved. I thought it was a bug until I disabled HTTPS Everywhere, and that fixed the problem. (Not a criticism - just FYI for anyone else having the same trouble.)
I've been using this addon for a year now and it's worked really well for me so far.

很好的扩展。但,建议向“集图工具(Image Picker)”学习一下,增加一个在保存之前,预览、筛选图片的界面。

Need a littlle help. Using Firefox 36.0.1 and installed "Save Images" and restarted FF. No matter if I use the R-click "Save Images" or ctl+shift+z wherever the mouse is the message says there are no images to be saved and my chosen folder is not acknowledged either. What to do? Thanks
My bad - check the box in General-save under mouse. Thanks
Please export your "Save Images Options" by opening the Save Images options window and clicking the Export button. Send the created file to plashcor@gmail.com. Also, please provide the web address from which you are trying to save the images.

However, current version has a bug. Using v1.0.9 and Firefox v36.0.
In private browsing mode saved images show up in non-private history. Did not happen before I updated to Firefox v36.0 and v1.0.9.
Quick update: just remembered the old version didn't have saved images show up in history in non-private mode too.
Would be nice if there was a toggle for "save in history" which works for either browsing mode.

I used to love this add-on, but the newest update doesn't seem to work properly. Reverted back to previous version and it's fine.

Only problem that I see is that you can't change the default format from Page Preview to something else. If I don't change the format, pictures are often saved as a text file.

Very thorough set of features however could you add middle mouse click shortcut for 'Save images under the mouse' option? So just mouse would enough for saving images.

Extensão com opções boas e diferenciadas quanto a baixar imagens.
Em pouco tempo já o classifiquei como o melhor para tal função.
Melhor que o DownThemAll!.
