Excellent dictionary, eh!

I have used this many times and found it to be good every time.

I'd be lost without this add-on! I've only come across a very few number of words that are not in the Canadian English Dictionary.

programme & recognise to name only a few. FAIL!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.4)."Programme" is considered a secondary spelling - many of those words were excluded from the list simply to save space. I'll get it added to the next version.
In Canadian English, however, "-ise" is considered incorrect. Only a handful of words are exceptions to that general rule:

Works great.
One suggestion might be to have an option to suggest addition of missing words.

Flags all plurals as an error so each must be added to the dictionary. Does the same with words in past tense ending with ed.
Also causes Thunderbird to crash 100% of the time when exiting the program. Nothing is lost as you were closing the program normally anyway.

update to 2.0.3 it fixes the FF crashes and has all the words you love back in.

Almost one word per sentence gets flagged with this dictionary; primarily (but not exclusively) plurals.

2.0.2 causes random crashes in FF. Do proper QA before releasing a version.

The 2.0.2 version of the dictionary is really screwed up. It's flagging plurals and proper conjugations as spelled wrong. It didn't even have the word "has" in its word list. Cripes! It doesn't even have "its" in the list! Somebody screwed up, bad!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1).Yup, I screwed up pretty badly on 2.0.2 and corrupted the affix file. I've pulled that version while 2.0.3 is reviewed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank goodness this exists. I can't believe they have South Africa, Australia, etc., but no dictionary for Canada!

If you're going to provide the ability to "Add to Dictionary" then it would be useful to be able to export/import the custom dictionary.

Simply a must-have for any Canadian Firefox user.

Working perfectly here I've been using it since firefox 2.0 was released. There are a few spelling mistakes that should be fixed for the next release but other than that no issues.
echosierra this is a Canadian English dictionary not a Canadian French dictionary

À Grand Martin, accelerometre is spelled accéléromètre in French. Not quite the same (you need the accents), or is this anonther Québec inconsistency?
