Very nice addon and actually no problem with tb3.
some suggestions:
* rounded borders for the photos? e.g. with -moz-border-radius?
* even if you youse gravatar for contacts without photo -> let me use my own pic if someone hasn't one on gravatar too
but all in all - great :-D

Great start! Thanks for the effort on a much missed feature from AddressBookPix after upgrading to TB3. Two suggestions:
1. display contact pic in compose window so you can see who you are sending an email to.
2. Make it work a little better with CompactHeader...currently forces picture and the CompactHeader expand arrow to extreme right of header regardless of settings in ContactPhoto. PLUS it would be awesome to have a small picture even in the compact header view...especially when working on netbooks with limited vertical view pane space.

even the gravatar thing works (i made an account for my own email address and uploaded a photo), takes a few seconds, but once it's downloaded, seems to be instant. nice!
and i can open the contact card for the sender if they're in my address book, too. cool add-on. my new favourite :)

seems to work fine for me in TB3.0. when i double click on the image in the message header, the Contact Card for the sender opens in a dialog box.
I turned off the gravatar in the options, since I don't know anyone using gravatars (hadn't even heard of it before this add on), but it worked even before I did that anyway.
Fabulous little add-on as far as I can tell!

Doesn't seem to work at all. If I click on the gravatar, an address book entry opens up and it shows the correct person, but no picture (when in fact in addressbook it does), and it can't be edited anyway.
MacOS 10.5.
This add-on, like the header, uses the first contact it can find with the sender's e-mail address. I don't have any control over which contact is found first.
You can either attempt to remove duplicates (check out the Duplicate Contact Manager 2 add-on) or add photos to the duplicate contacts.
If you click on the gravatar to edit the person's picture you will probably have to re-select the message to see the new photo.
If it still doesn't seem to be working, please use the contact info (forum or e-mail) in the support section so I can find and fix the problem.

I get an "add-ons not found" message whe trying to install your extension.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.3).I'm getting the same error and I don't think I can do anything about it other than upload a new version.
Please try again soon once it says the version is 0.1.5 or higher.

Does not always work, then shows only gravatars, but not the photos from address book.

Any restrictions for picture format, size etc.?
[EDIT] Does not choose the right (main) address book, if same addresses are in more than one address book.
Would you be able to send me an e-mail with more details on what isn't working correctly? My e-mail address is in the Support section of the add-on page.
I have no control over the order in which address books are searched. This add-on uses the first contact found with the sender's e-mail address which is the same contact listed under "from". Try the Duplicate Contact Manager add-on to remove duplicates.
There aren't really any restrictions on photos; as long as you can see the photo in the address book window it should work (assuming that is the only contact with that e-mail address). If you try to use a huge photo (several MBs) from the web then it isn't always saved correctly.

awesome. Suggestion: somehow (and I know it's hard) center the picture in the header pane vertically, and maybe add a little border. Also, clicking on the face could open the address book card for that person maybe?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.2).I was able to put the picture near the vertical center in 0.1.3, but there is some dead space between the image container and the bottom spacer.
There is now a border that you can customize through the Preferences dialog and clicking on the image will open the Edit Contact dialog or ask you to add the contact to the address book first.
