For this to work in FF3, you just need to modify the xpi file. Click the "Ignore version check" link and then right-click on the Add to Firefox and select Save Link As. Open the XPI file with WinZip and then open the install.rdf file with a text editor. Change line 24: "2.0.0.*". I changed 2.0.0 to 4.0.0. Then save it (you may need to refresh the file in the archive). Once you've done this you can reinstall the add-on and it works perfectly.

Works great with FF3! after you make a few changes.
It works.
1. Open xpi file with winzip. (I right clicked on it and hit "edit" instead)
2. Open install.rdf and change -> 3.*
3. Save all.
4. Install modified xpi file...by opening FF3 and go to File, open file and then minimizetotray-0.0.1.2006102615+-fx+zm+sb+tb.xpi

Muito bom, pena que ainda não tem versão para o Firefox 3, alguém sabe se existe outro complemento que funcione da mesma forma que este?

Fantastic add-on.. i love it.
If you want to use it on ff3.0 just rename .xpi in .zip and edit install.rdf in 3.0.*
as some guys said.

With little modification to the install file it works cute with the Firefox 3.0.0.0. I am shareing with you the modifiled file to make your life earlier.
1) Download this file http://www.quickfiles.net/550443
2) Unzip it to your disk or Desktop
3) Double click the unzipped file "minimizetotray-0.0.1.2006102615+-fx+zm+sb+tb.xpi"
4) If you get a message "Windows can not open this file" then click "select a program from a list" click OK and select FireFox and click OK again
5) This should install you the plug-in
Enjoy :)

It is a must for multi-tasking users & helps to unclutter the taskbar into compact icons at the tray.
To be frank, it can also serve as a quick tool to hide personal activites when someone pokes their way into your business. And you can even get around if they are familiar with this. Siply right-click on the clock, & go to 'Customize Notifications...' You can set what tray icons to display & hide (which you can reveal by clicking the arrow on the left).
Enjoy!

I really love this extension, I love saving space on my taskbar. I hope this extension will be updated soon to be compatible with Fx 3 on install.
