Thanks for the work you have done - so far all those I have tried work fine. Is it possible to add another to clear the typed URL history (unless someone knows another way of doing it). Latest Firefox installed.

Amazing extension with an amazing number of toolbar buttons.
A request to the developer: Add buttons for the History menu and Bookmarks menu. I want to get rid of the file menu and replace it with a few icons, but these two buttons are missing.

I can't make it work!!! I need my buttons!!! I have installed Toolbar Buttons, and the buttons are not there when I right-click the toolbar and click "Customize" - just the few standard Firefox buttons. What's going on??? I've tried uninstalling, re-starting, re-installing multiple times, to no avail. I am hoping the developer sees this post and can offer me some help.
Thanks.

Great addon but there are some redundant buttons which sometimes make it confusing to use. Example:
Add-ons vs. Extensions vs. Extensions (big icon)
Open Themes Manager vs. Open Themes Manager (big icon)

A 5-star rating if I didn't need to install all these icons. But the Custom Toolbar Buttons Maker disables my toolbars so I needed to install mostly unnecessary icons for this very necessary extension.

Hello, I’m a fan of this add-on (I currently have version 0.6.0.5 installed, and I’m running FF version 3.0.10).
I have one issue that I hope you can help me with :
In addition to my Navigation Toolbar and Bookmarks Toolbar, I have also set up 4 additional custom toolbars. I only wish for one of these 4 custom toolbars to appear regularly while my browser is open. But every time I open
or restart Firefox, all 6 of my toolbars appear, which means constantly having to go to my “Toolbars” icon, and un-checking the 3 toolbars I don’t want appearing.
I don’t wish to delete those 3 custom toolbars, but I don’t know of any other way to keep them
from showing up on my browser every time I open or re-start Firefox (except to keep manually un-checking them).
Is there a way keep those 3 toolbars saved, but automatically prevent them from showing up on my browser every time I open or re-start Firefox?

Brilliant, especially the way you can build your own custom version. No issues.

I just updated (finally!) to FF3 tonight and needed something that would replace some of the functionality of FirefoxMenuButtons.
Toolbar seems like it will fit the bill for most of the buttons that I had. However, I noticed that once I added several toolbar buttons, they only showed on one of my several open windows. Obviously, I need them to show on any and all open windows.
I'm hoping that this will be resolved on a restart of Firefox.

Does not work in Firefox 3.0.8 on Ubuntu. Bug or not, users need to know.

Great and very useful add-on. I have a request: Would you please add 'character encoding' button for Thunderbird, the one you find in view menu. I get a lot of emails in different languages, it would make my life easier. ( if anyone knows how to make the button please do tell).
Thanks a lot for the add-on.

Thanks for making this add-on! It's really a great one. It helps me to make my Firefox screen more compact and I can surf internet faster with just few clicks. However I'm wondering where the password of Gmail button is saved?

Had this worked for Firefox 3.0.8, I would have given it 5 stars.
I had been using this in previous versions of Firefox, but for some reason, ever since my FF updated to version 3.0.8, I cannot work with this extension.
I mean, it loads in the Add-Ons window, but when I go to Customize Toolbar, I no longer see the extra buttons.
What happened?

I try to update my tb to 3.0b1, but I can't use this addon any more.
Here is the message prompt.
Toolbar Buttons 0.6.0.4 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Thunderbird 3.0b1.

Buttons that should be a part of FF by default. So it's absolutely essential add-on.

Great add-on! I'd recommend it to anyone.
Most of the buttons are very useful. I especially like the customize toolbar button because I'm always finding something to change about my toolbars. The toggle buttons for the nav and bookmark bars are nice also. It's nice to have some extra screen space every once and a while.
A suggestion I have would be some custom toggle buttons for my other toolbars.
Nice work.

the majority, I'm not sure how to use, but there are some that are definitely helpful, like add-ons, customize toolbar, options, and toggle menu bar. now I don't have to right-click and select from the context menu (which saves space on it) and can click a toolbar button instead.

My absolute favorite, as a web designer, is the "Reload Skip Cache". It's a big red circular arrow, like the blue refresh button. But it reloads the page without the cache. If you are testing web pages you know how helpful this would be.
There are also many other great buttons to choose from. I give it A+
