One of the best theme out there! Would be nice if someone would fix it so it works well with all the features in TB8.

I had drop I-leopard for a while (TB6 and 7) but just tried in TB8 (by forcing the max version number) and the lay out in the ad-on page now seems to display a lot better ( or may be I had incompatibility in my prior installation)
Still the lightening reminder alarm does not work properly : (1)the message is not visible and (2)snooze box is not accessible.

How to make it work on Thunderbird 7? Standard theme is seriously ugly. :P

There is a work around to make it work with 6.02, but it does not have all the functionality. E.g. in the add-ons manager it does not show the "option" button. Theme needs to be upgrade. But otherwise great theme!

Hi,

I have been using this theme for a while and I love it. Actually, I don't want to upgrade Thunderbird to keep using this wonderful theme.

However, it looks nicer in the picture here and can't get the same appearance. For instance, when I tag a message( "important") only the font of the message subject switches to "Red", instead of hilighting the whole message in "Red" (as in the picture here). Is this something related to the configuration of these theme ? (I'm using this last version of iLeopard, and TDB 3.1.14.

Been using this theme ever since I use Thunderbird. Love it.

While a update that supports TB6 natively doesn't come out, you can do this:

1. With TB closed, go to C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\[PROFILE NAME]\extensions\LeopardMailDefaultAqua@reo-2007

2. Open up 'install.rdf' using Notepad.

3. Locate the following section:
"<em:targetApplication>
<Description>
<em:id>{3550f703-e582-4d05-9a08-453d09bdfdc6}</em:id>
<em:minVersion>3.0b4pre</em:minVersion>
<em:maxVersion>3.2a1pre</em:maxVersion>
</Description>
</em:targetApplication>"

4. In the string "<em:maxVersion>3.2a1pre</em:maxVersion>" change the value to 6.0

5. Save and Close.

You can now use the theme with the version 6 of Thunderbird. It looks slightly different than before, but a whole lote better than the deafult theme. You can do the same for the Graphite version of this theme.
There might be some bugs, as the theme was not designed to wirk with this new version of TB. Do this at your own risk.

I'll be waiting for an update on this theme, 'cause I love it. Until then I'll be using this little trick :)

I have used this theme for years and love it! It works so well--and even works with the new version 6.0 (if you manually update the install.rdf file to have a max version of 6.0). I would recommend this theme to anyone.

I absolutely love this theme!!! But when I upgraded to ThunderBird 5.0, it wasn't compatible anymore. I really love this theme!!! I know alot of people have already said this and I don't want to be annoying, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE upgrade it!!! My thunderbird looks ugly and this theme makes ALL the difference!!! Thank You!!!

when i installed the theme, the mac-like minimize, close, and restore buttons weren't like they were in the picture and remained the windows glass theme. i'm running on windows 7, so does it not work with 7 or something?

Edited the rtf file:<em:version>7.0</em:version>Re-added to .jar. Still getting 'this is not compatible' msg.Any advice? I've used this theme for years and TB/Lightening is just not the same without it.

For those who want this to work on TB5. Save the theme to your hard drive. Go to where you save the theme and open it with 7-zip or IZarck or Winzip etc. Now to the the Install.rdf file and choose edit. Now find the line to Thunderbird that shows maxversion and change it to 7.0 and save the rdf file close the archive and choose to update the archive when/if prompted. Now go to TB and choose addon manager and choose to install from file and navigate to the save theme and install it...it worked well for me. Good Luck.

"很漂亮，但是字体太小，不能久用". I translate as"Looks awesome but the fonts are ... tiny, I won't be using it forever". I think the last part could also have meant that using it for an extended period is hard(on the eyes).For myself, I also am a big fan of how simple and organized things look with this theme, however currently it seems to make the interface a bit slower than normal; often using 30% of my laptop's 1.5Ghz C2D (T5250). The fact that I'm using thunderbird portable(v3.1.9) might also be an issue. Perhaps it will perform better over time.
