Einfach, schnell und übersichtlich,
man kann die 'Menüeinträge" sehr schön einzeln rauf oder runter bewegen und drückt zum Schluss nur schließen. TB neu starten und alles ist richtig sortiert. Vielen Dank!

I just installed this and restarted Thunderbird (using 3.1.18). No folders appear in the folders pane, even after I click Refresh Folder Pane. No accounts show in the pane under the Sort Accounts tab either. I can't seem to get it to work no matter what. My fault?

Great useful addon ! I have a little bug (Local folder is always before all RSS accounts and it can't be changed) but this addon is a must-to-have.

i've been suffering from the lack of this account sorting option ...
i tried "another" addon too - it crashed .. i read threads about that crash, it was said that it was fixed but users still complained about its chrashing ... and i tried this on - and worked like a charm, just exactly as one would expect it ...
thank you so much!

It worked like a charm. I don't understand why Thunderbird doesn't have a feature like this normally

I just wanted to reorder some accounts in the folder pane. Totally painless installation. Simple and quick to use. Done.

After reporting my problem and receiving installation tips the add-on installed fine. Working great. Of course I will donate the USD 4,99. Thanks again.

Saubere Benutzerführung, übersichtlich gestaltet, keine Probleme und zwar auf allen Systemen. Ganz fein: Benzuterdefinierter Ordner beim Start von TB öffnen. Da sind 5$ gut investiertes Geld.

Granted, it's something that's only needed because nobody can be bothered to implement this in Thunderbird directly, but hey, it works! The addon is also nice and polished, it's actually pleasant to use. Thanks, Jonathan!

Very useful and nearly a substitute for 'Folderpane Tools' when that does not work. However, for me there is one feature missing.

When I click on 'Local Folders' in the folder pane, TB shows a management display in the thread pane.

I would like to be able, in 'Manually sort folders' options, to select 'Local Folders' as my start folder and see that management display each time TB starts.

Entre en conflit avec la gestion des comptes (si plusieurs comptes, mélange les choix appliqués, par exemple, aux Indésirables). Donc, à désactiver une fois le tri effectué.
Sinon, fonctionnel.

YESSSSS!! As I dance about my cube, insanely happy and singing a song of celebration, I write hurriedly to finish this review before I am taken away for a 48 hour observation. I have my own domain and have numerous email accounts. I wanted to get the most important to the top and being unable to do this has bugged the snarf outta me. This plugin is exactly what I needed and does exactly what it says it does!

Great plugin, people...
Fully functional and complete:
What it says, what it does ;-)

Thank you very much!

Great feature - but for only 1/2 of the need for manually sorting saved Email to work with on-going. * Can you also develop an Addon for quickly manually sorting each "individual Email" - by drag and drop - so they can be moved about and clustered in any order desired to work on?
This would put the sorting and filing process fully in the users hands and make life so much easier for those of us who need to file and regularly work with large quantities of Emails daily in a virtual file cabinet. It would definitely be worth contributing to.
This was a great feature of AOL 8.0 and prior versions, for example. It was an extremely useful feature that for some reason was omitted in all subsequent AOL versions.

I would like to backup the setting of Manually Sort Folders add-on and copy it to another PC. I wonder where the setting is stored.

I love this addon, one of the first I've installed since switching to Thunderbird! I really didn't like the default sort options, I prefer to arrange my folders in whatever way suits me instead of a basic alphabetical setup.

The only thing that stops this getting 5 stars is that it would be much easier if I could simply drag the folders in the pane to where I want them instead of having to go into the options and adjust them there. :)

I use POP3/SMTP and sort stuff as really needed; the update to Thunderbird 24.0 completely messed up my directories hiding from view everything I needed, this add-on saved me.
