It does not seem to work. Try with this picture: http://www.nikonclub.it/forum/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=95247
ExifViewer, another firefox add-on (that I DO NOT like), is able to show exif data on this image.
Try also this one: http://www.nikonclub.it/forum/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=95243
I was able to reproduce this. If the image doesn't fit into the cache (Options/Page Info/Media/Size says "Unknown (not cached)") it didn't work.
Version 0.3 can now scan the file directly over the network (if connected). Depending on your connection and where in the file the EXIF data is (at the begin or at the end) this may take some time but it's the only way I know of.

Handy tool. If only to list of supported tags would be widre. Now missing tags like: Artist, Copyright, ColorSpace, ExifImageWidth, ExifImageHeight and ImageDescription.

Nice addon. One minus - isn't compatible with Thunderbird.

I highly recommend the FxIF EXIF viewer. It very simply provides all the information you really need to determine how the shot was made. Others offer more info but you really just don't need it.

Best EXIF extension when it works, but when images do not have EXIF it should at least say "No EXIF Data". It just leaves you guessing whether the extension is at fault or what.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.3).Thanks for your suggestion. I've added such a message in the new version 0.3.

Version 0.2.3 works fine for me in Firefox 3. I downloaded it from the author's website.

Grat Tool for FF 2.x but as already mentioned it is not working within FF3.
Hopefully we will get an update. Or does anybody know a tool like this which is running with an actual FF version?

Very useful extension as I browse lots of image gallery sites. Unfortunately it doesn't work in Firefox 3!

The download of imagery with exif-data slows down significantly, making surfing impossible, only uninstallation of this add-on helps.

Simple, easy to understand and well integrated with the browser. Values are displayed in a proper human readable format. Focal length is displayed in both native and 35mm equiv.

The extension is simple and elegant and it displays the information where it belongs (the properties dialog). However, it only shows a few basic exif fields. If you want to seem them all, you need another tool.

This extension is a must have for curious photographers. It is working perfectly reliable, so in theory there's no reason to release a new version. If only it would be compatible with Firefox3...
PLEASE update the extension for Firefox3.

This is a very nice EXIF viewer. It is non-intrusive (the information is displayed in the Properties dialog for images) and just plain works.

I love this add-ons as it can easily show us some of the photographs EXIF info which you might not be able to view it or see it through the web page. By this add-on, you just need to point to the image and right click, then it will shows you the EXIF information (*only if the image owner did not remove it... )

Very simple, very awesome. I'm addicted to EXIF data (it's a great way to learn about how other people make photographs), so this is absolutely brilliant. I love how it integrates into the existing UI. It'd be nice to have a faster way of finding out if EXIF data is available for a given image, before opening the Properties dialog, but I can't think of a good way to do that right now.
