This is a very handy program. I wish it had settings for "weekdays only" or "weekends only."

Wow. This add-on is even more useful and definitely easier than described in the instructional videos. Thanks so much and keep up the good work.

Reminderfox has a lot of functionality while being progressive from simple to complex ui.
I rate it 10 star.

(p.s. I tried to follow the link to the homepage of REMINDERFOX to drop a note to you there, it failed wit a "Database Error" - could not connect to database... )
upon starting Firefox just now, one of the updates it offered to install was for ReminderFox... which caused that it tried to open a window resulting in the following error (which I think also happens for other updates trying to open a notification window, possibly because I have HTTPS-Everywhere installed; it would be nice if "someone" who understands what needs to happen to avoid this could make it happen:

reminderfox.mozdev.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names:
www.mozdev.org , mozdev.org , svn.mozdev.org , hg.mozdev.org , mozdev.org , bugzilla.mozdev.org

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

Hi Ian, there was a general issue with the mozdev.org host website with an expired certificate. All should be well now.
Thanks.

I like this a lot but would request that it be possible to just have a tiny icon with the fox picture logo to activate the program rather than the whole 'Welcome to Reminder Fox!' which is a bit cumbersome.

edit: I'm an idiot. I just deleted the Welcome reminder. I'd still prefer your cute fox logo to the bow but the bow is nice enough and maybe the fox doesn't scale well. Thankyou very much anyway and much luck to you.

Hi there - thanks for the review. The reason the bow is used currently is that it changes color depending if you have no reminders, reminders for today, or upcoming reminders. We are looking at ways to convey that same info using the fox icon. Stay tuned! For now, you can right-click on the Firefox top toolbar and select Customize... and then drag the Foxy-head icon to your toolbar and use that instead. Thanks. Tom

Like this add-on a lot, but a synch for Google tasks to To-Do's is BADLY needed - similar to the calendar synch. Great add-on ... thanks.

I miss a priorities function for the tasks and I don't like the color blue.

All other diaries etc can go in the bin. This is the only one I need. Have been using it for some time now and have seen improvements to both the appearance and functionality.

This is amazing! How did I live without it before?
Calendars are good - If you can remember to look at one everyday (I can't remember or be bothered) BUT I can guarantee everyday I will be starting Firefox!

A suggestion for an improvement -
Color code reminders - You have Important reminders as Red. But let the user define the color. So when I look at my reminder list I can scan down and know that green means holiday, orange means birthday, etc

I prefer this add on in place of lightning, because it is simple, does the job and updated.

I use, rely upon and enjoy this add-on. The cute little fox poking out at start up is entertaining! The To Do List, Reminders and Calendar are very helpful, interactive and easy to use. BUT Not available for Firefox 4.0b8. PLEASE UPGRADE.

Thanks for the kind review. It should now be updated to the latest beta version of FF4.
Thanks.

I had previously written that the pop ups wouldn't show, and that the time settings aren't flexible. These 2 aspects turned out to be false. That said, the addon really does work well, and the amount of customization is pretty good. The only complaints are very minor. In my opinion, the alarm pop up could be a bit more friendly. It's not ugly, but it could be a bit smoother. But maybe that's just me. Other than that, everything seems pretty great. I recommend it.

Hi there - the alert slider in the bottom right is just one method of notification. You can set any event to also have an alarm window popup at the specified time, which I think is what you're looking for. As for the hours, those are just some pre-determined defaults. You can actually enter in any time (hours or minutes) that you want (like: 10:57 PM).
Hope that helps. Thanks for the feedback.
