You can get the best part of google search algorithm without its worst of privacy invasion. StartPage is always one of my top search options.

Fast so gut wie Google, aber um Welten (oder besser Galaxien) weniger neugierig als sein großer Bruder und Datenlieferant. Nichts nervt inzwischen mehr, als bei Google regelmäßig die Datenschutzrichtlinien entweder unbesehen zu übernehmen oder mühevoll alle unerwünschten Optionen mit vielen Klicks auf 3-5 Masken zu deaktivieren. Das gehört mit Startpage.com dann ebenfalls der Vergangenheit an.

In the recent weeks I have been experiencing a weird bug with this search engine and Firefox. If I go and search for something, anything really and go to a link in the search results, sometimes the resulting page opens in a new tab (which is good) but sometimes it opens a new Window. (Which I hate)
I don't seem to have this problem on any other searh engine I have tried such as Google or Bing and this issue is present on latest FF in both Windows 10 and Manjaro linux 17.1.1

I've been using this search engine for years. It's fast, and you're not inundated with adds related to stuff you searched afterward.

Bonjour,

Pour éviter les pubs et tout les géants de vous tracer!

Installer Adblock plus et uBlock Origine sur votre Mozzilla FireFox deux INDISPENSABLES (Addons Mozilla), et ce petit moteur de recherche sera au top!

Les Plus+:
Possibilité de passer par un proxy via ce petit moteur de recherche, sur la ligne des site proposés.
Simple d'utilisation propre et net.

Les moins -:
Il mériterait une présentation plus jolie, type changer la couleur du thème de la page. Le logo StarPage et tout.. pas beau ^^



En quelques jours il est mon moteur de recherche par défaut. Plus de 6 mois d'utilisation et pas besoin de plus, il fait l' café.
Si par inadvertance il ne trouve pas un site je passe par Google, mais en général pas besoin.

Faites passez le mot, testez-le et vous ne serez pas déçu!

Si j'avais une note à lui donner sur 20... 18,5/ 20 !

Ceci est mon avis.
