Schönes Design aber man kann sich nicht anmelden.
Es müsste mal eine Anleitung geben.

Works fine for my Google Apps account, but will not accept the password for my standard Gmail/Google account... Have confirmed the password is correct, as I'm sure all the other people with the same problem have... Ubuntu 12.04, Firefox 14.0.1 - UPDATE: The forked version of this add-on, Gmail Manager NG, works perfectly for me. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/gmail-manager-ng/

Won't accept my password, even after several attempts and a browser restart. Akzeptiert das Passwort nicht, auch nach mehrmaligem Versuch und Neustart des Browsers. Schade.

Simple, clear-cut, real-time email notifications... what more could anyone need?

Won't accept my password, even after several attempts and a browser restart. Looks like a terrific add-on, but it's worthless if it won't allow me to log into my email.

Cannot log in with my password

Like this add-on, but with the current version of firefox, this add-on is annoying to use if there is no navigation toolbar icon, which means I'm forced to use the status bar which is now annoying considering it takes up screen space.

I am too much of a dummy to follow " who wants to buy this computer " instructions. He said to copy this text to a notepad. What text did he mean ?
He said to empty file. What file did he mean ? Sorry. But I am a true computer dummy and must have a download I can correct this with . I have uninstalled it as it is worthless for me at this stage.. I had this before with no problems. But now a big headache.

Updated fix version compatibility to 20.*, so FF13 is OK.
Here is the new XPI link: https://github.com/downloads/ath0mas/mozilla-firefox-addons/gmail_manager-0.6.4.1.6-fx+sm.xpi
... sooner or later, I may switch to Erik Nedwidek GitHub fork as GmailManagerNG should be a more evolutive solution for us all

Been using this myself since its creation, great addon imo. So I was sad, when it stopped working. But like others, I did tweak to update the Google servers.
Here's a link to a working version for those looking. Works with up to FF 14. Share/spread it out there guys! >__>b

it so helpful. i have more than one account gmail, my private account, my work account, also my community account and it's waste time if I have to login ad than logout one by one.
With this add-on, I can check my emails in all of my gmail accounts. love it ^^

I followed the instructions from the review below by 'buythiscomputer' and it works perfectly now. Gmail has obviously changed the login server and so the extension couldn't connect.
This is not the developers fault!

IT WORKS, JUST CHANGE THE LINK WHERE IT MUST CONNECT TO GMAIL
I did this and it works now:
1) Save this text to a notepad empty file then Close Firefox
2) go to your profile C:\Users\[your account]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[some random text].default\extensions
3) {582195F5-92E7-40a0-A127-DB71295901D7}.xpi rename with ZIP extension
4) inside this archive under folder named component edit this file named gmServiceGmail.js with notepad
5) Search inside this file gmServiceGmail.js text: " https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth " and replace with " https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLoginAuth "
6) save edited file and update archive with edited file gmServiceGmail.js then rename it back to XPI
7) reopen Firefox then drag this modified XPI file in Firefox this will open extensions install window ....you're DONE
USE NOTEPADD++ to do this as it's easy and you don't need to unzip any file.
The only thing to do it change https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth " by " https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLoginAuth "
VERY EASY !!!
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
