Been using this addon for a while now and love it. I just upgraded my Palemoon browser to 25.1.0 (x64) and for some reason I had to reinstall the weather app. Installed OK but when I click on the settings button it freezes my whole browser. The only way out is via the task manager. I hope this gets addressed because I have come to really enjoy this addon.

I love this app, used it from the get go. but fire fox keeps making this app incompatible , not the first time. I wish this would stop happening. so many apps and themes have fallen by the wayside, one theme had 300,000 users, more actually, no longer. and , as someone else noted. Mozilla wants me to give more money, again. no more. I want this app,in particular, back and fast.
Edit: hour later....I just did a search for installing this forecast fox for versions after 29 i guess. I did have to make certificate exceptions which i had done in past but forgot. I am using Windows10 tech preview and just now installing FF 34.05 or whatever is most current non beta as of 1-2-15. it works fine and added to restore add on bar on the bottom. I did also add compatibility check as suggested below. no idea if it was necessary or not.
keeping the 5star forecaster fox but not for FF34. not since 28, i think , when all the good (to me) themes and some apps fell by the wayside as noted by disgust of creators with process. hundreds of thousands of followers yet no longer compatible. It is all far too advanced for me to grasp. I am just a typical end user who gets left with less control over look of interface not that the standard new ones are bad, just not what i like.

Too annoying. Valuable extension now incompatible. And yet FF keeps asking for our $$$$. Bummer.....

I went nuts trying to find the right weather addon since this was disabled, forgot about compatibility addon which fixes the auto-disable. This installs itself right in the status bar ( which I restored with the addon bar addon ) and now all is well, I get my weather again

First of all - you're welcome, ripper.
I wanted to add that I just had to create a new profile (the old one was corrupted) and I was not able to install ForecastFox from here; FF kept telling me it wasn't compatible with v34, even with the CheckCompatibility add-on enabled. I did a search and found it somewhere else; I won't say where because it doesn't seem like a good idea to mention that here, but I will say it's on a site I've used a lot and trust. Installation does need a restart but once I did that it was back where it belongs, in the bottom toolbar. I still haven't tried to get all my settings back (cities, countries, etc.) but I'm hoping that moving the sqlite file from the old profile will take care of that.
I really wish someone would update this though; the radar map is still not timely and besides, I don't like the idea of possibly having other add-ons out-of-date (because they're not being checked). So, if anyone is doing this, I think it's a good idea to manually check for updates periodically just so you don't miss anything important.

It is sad to see an extension that I have used over the years become abandoned. Sure there are work arounds for getting the extension to display but the inabiity to change the settings is a sore point. You are still saddled with a extension that seems to be cast adrift.
I can sympathize with the developer though as end users can become pushy at times wanting something fix ASAP even though the extension is free.
So long Forecastfox I will miss you

Why on earth hasn't this been updated to be compatible with Firefox 34.0?? I don't like any of the other add-ons for weather, as they're bulky and inconvenient. PLEASE, PLEASE update this so I can use it again. I turned on my web browser and couldn't find it and I seriously got really sad (lol). PLEASE UPDATE THIS ADD-ON! WE LOVE YOU! D-:; lol

I still use this on FF33.1 and it works fine, I'm not sure why this is labeled as incompatible. Just install Disable Add-on Compatibility Checks (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/checkcompatibility/) and then install/enable Forecastfox, it still works the same as always.
(I wish the developer would come and change the compatible versions list so it wouldn't be marked as incompatible)

I relied on this weather forecasting program and miss it now that firefox 33.02 is not compatible. I would like to see this program reworked to be compatible with future firefox versions, and the current version if that is possible.

Just put it on my sons new pc windows 8.1 works fine see no issues. Wish we could post a screen shot for proof here.

Well as per some of these reviews, I tried the 2.2.4 version from the link and it did work as far as displaying in Firefox 33. However, the icons would not stay put. I had it displayed in the add on bar and every time I restarted the browser it was gone back into the "additional tools and features". That makes this unusable as it isn't practical to have to put it back each time you open the browser.
