Gracias y saludos.

Truly useful complement. Recommended for anyone who wants to keep an exact copy of a page. But could develop a version for Android FF? It's a shame we can not open our mobile MAFF files created on the desktop.
Thanks and regards.

Ok looks like the new MAFF 3.0.3 works in Aurora 34 and is backwards compatible with old mht files created under older versions of this add on and under prior ff versions (under 33). thanks guys. this is a hugely useful app and I now see that chrome uses mhtml natively now and these files seem to open under latest version of chrome as well. Ill do some more checking

The MHT & whatever is not really useful 'cuz can't search subfolders like if nothing is compressed, but the really useful thing about this addon is it saves pages with the proper name, like on U-Boob (Youtube) if U don't have this installed, a video page will have a ridiculously cryptic, useless name instead of the title name of the video =P

Very nice and efficient
but for compatibility , please make the line :
"Content-Type: multipart/related;"
the first to keep signature of mime type reachable
you can keep the line
"From: <Saved by Mozilla 5.0 (XXX)>"
in the second place

5 stars thus far. I especially like that MAF will archive all of my open tabs...esp helpful if I need to close the browser before viewing all pages. I picked up the FF extension UnMHT to work in Firefox for Android, but I hope MAF will work there too someday. The ability to save/archive embedded video (for offline viewing I hope) is enticing...will soon try this feature for company webinar video archives. P.S. I was accessing it thru Tools on the FF Menu bar or as a dropdown from the FF menu icon (the FF horizontal lines icon); there was no "Save Page in Archive" MAF icon on my Add-On toolbar, but I just now learned if I right click it from the dropdown, I have the option to add it to my Add-On Toolbar, so there it sits, ready to "Save this page!"; better yet, use Ctrl-S. Very cool, thanks Christopher Ottley and Paolo Amadini.

MAF unlike UnMHT...
1. Saves at least twice as fast.
2. Opens approximately twice as fast.
3. Reopen the file does not lead to a new reload.
4. Shows an original address of the page.
5. Slightly smaller size.
The comparison was made on the MHT format (page had size more than 10 MB).

Works as described. Use it every time I save a webpage in archive format. Should be in Firefox base code.

I discovered this feature in IE long ago and was sad when it disappeared from the FF base. Fortunately an addon gives the feature back. I use it to capture the whole home page for software providers I download from in case a revisit is needed. Likewise it is good for capturing web pages as documentation in cases where a document is not provided.

I've used this add-on for many years and love it. Thank you Christopher Ottley and Paolo Amadini!! The one thing that has constantly perturbed me and I will make it my only request is that I would really really like to able to save links to files within a MAFF. Much too often I find myself saving pages with MAFF and there are valuable links to PDFs and other files and that I'm forced to download along with it, and then it gets messy and can be confusing. So I ask yous to please consider this. Having this ability would have so many useful applications such as archiving downloaded files whilst keeping the page you downloaded it from along with the description, version information, size, and other useful information and that's just one very useful application.

I love this extension!
I can now save a page with a single file instead of a lot of pieces.

This add-on really does what it sets out to do. I had always wanted Firefox to support these formats natively but it seems Mozilla had no plans to and so here is the saviour - MHT. The only thing I don't like about this add-on is the name and the icon. Surely, the developers could have made it fancy.

All simply excellent. To say I use it ten times a day would harshly be an overstatement - I would be forced to switch to IE or FF if I hadn't it. (I have Seamonkey and not FF where unMHT is also available).
But I have a suggestion. When I click on a link of which I would like to save the page (Save under or shift+click in Seamonkey), it is currently impossible to do it in mht format (or I don't know how). This improvement would help me to save a webpage to read it later. Thanks!

The best way to save web pages - results works cross browser, and can preserv pages for future use.
