This is an excellent addition to Thunderbird because it puts core address book search and update functionality right on the main mail screen. The address book that is built in is now so clunky that it is painful to use.

This sidebar makes it very, very useable.

I used the exellent add on very often. Does not work on TB3. I had to go back to TB2. :-(((

Realmente es una gran aplicación, espero el señor Jeroen realice una version compatible con Tb3, ademas me gustaria la opcion de realizar el marcado a los telefonos desde la ficha de contactos, sería un gran aporte

Really wish this worked for Ver 3.0. I miss it. I tried the ini file patch but it did not work.

Love this utility, but would like to see supporting 3.0. I tried the suggestion about changing application.ini, but it caused problem with another add-on.

I'm using the TB 3 and the error message is not compatible with TB 3 although I downloaded from here and they said it's support 3

Snakiej and all who has compatibility problem, here is a little trick:
Open application.ini file in the thunderbird folder, and change Version=3.0 to Version=3.0a2pre or Version=3.0a, or even Version=2.0, or any version you want. Then save it, and restart thunderbird.

It works with all addons. :)

I like this addon very much, my favorite feature is, that I can set up to see my contacts' another email addresses in the sidebar, not only the default.

The only problem is, it doesn't work with portable thunderbird

Open 'application.ini' in the thunderbird folder, and replace 'Version=3.0' to 'Version=3.0a1'
save it, restart thunderbird and that's all
This trick is working with all addons.

This addon is perfect, my favorite feature is, that I can set to see the another email addresses of my contats, not only the default, without opening the contats window.
