BEST extension ever! Please keep it going with new versions of Thunderbird. Thank you!
Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (6.4).I am sorry. Quicktext is still a legacy extension and requires updates for each new Thunderbird version. I’m currently unable to provide updates for Thunderbird’s monthly release channel. Quicktext users need to use Thunderbird’s ESR channel, which only receives a major update once per year. I hope to complete the transition from a legacy extension to a modern WebExtension in 2026.

I use the exstention almost daily. Keep up the good work, one of the best extentions for Thunderbird!

I am trying this extension out, and it looks like it will do what I need, but is there any way to turn off/hide the toolbar with the buttons in the compose window? It doesn't show up as a toggle in the normal View->Toolbars (where it should be). This seems like a very basic setting, so not sure what I am missing.
Edit: I saw in the source code that there is a preference setting for whether the toolbar is visible or not, but the comments also say there is no GUI for it. Does anybody know how I can modify that setting through other means?

Quicktext verwende ich für Signaturen für fast jede Mail. Eine einzige Signatur finde ich unpersönlich. Deshalb variiere ich diese immer wieder. Auch die in den Signaturen hinterlegten Kontaktdaten variieren.

Ich nutze Quicktext seit Jahren und bin damit absolut zufrieden! Bei Thunderbird-Updates folgt umgehend eine Anpassung, so daß man (fast) sofort weiterabreiten kann. Danke!

When the extension update for thunderbird version 141 is released, it is impossible to work with it. I really like your extension!

I use this all day long, great add-on!! I downloaded the preview release but when I try to add it, TB tells me it's corrupt. I've downloaded it again, same issue. I can open the zip just fine. Please help.

Thanks for the fast response to Thunderbird 140. I wish Quicktext 6.3 would show up in the Thunderbird add-on search. Quicktext is a really great add-on. I can't write emails without it. Thanks!

Excellent add-on that saves an enormous amount of time.

Quicktext is by far the most intuitive and useful add-on for email templates in Thunderbird.
Please consider updating it to support the latest version — many of us rely on it daily and would love to see it back in action.
