Great addon ! I mainly use it to remove all Googles adds (on gmail, search, etc.).

This extension used to work fine but now it screws my whole Google searching pictures just over lap no matter what limit I put on them & the regular search does the same thing see multiple instances of the links this should be looked at. I give this a 3 since I still like the idea of this extension just needs some tweaking for the new version of Firefox 3.0.5 and for future versions.

Good! Google Suggest does not work on Google.ca homepage and Google Groups is showing ads even though I disabled it.

Really good, extensive tool, you can customise so much with this. Love it. Hope the next version can have even more customisation...

There is a bug when you search some keywords in images.google.* : the link to the image page contains &usg= at the end and returns a 404 error.

To fix this bug,
1. close all firefox windows

2. go to C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR_NAME]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[YOUR_PROFILE]\extensions\{fce36c1e-58d8-498a-b2a5-66ad1cedebbb}\chrome\

3. un-zip customizegoogle.jar\content\customizegoogle\javascript.js and open it

4. replace the line 42 :
var urlmatch = googLinks[x].href.match(/\&imgrefurl\=(.*?)\&h=/);
with the line :
var urlmatch = googLinks[x].href.match(/\&imgrefurl\=(.*?)\&usg=/);

5. re-zip the new javascript.js in customizegoogle.jar\content\customizegoogle\

fixed ! :-)

When I search "hsu chi" or some other keywords in images.google.com , the results return website links with &usg=__ and something else at the end . It makes that If I click the link to those websites , I get the error : url not found or the website turns me to the homepage of that website . Although that happens, the direct link to the image is still working .
I'm using firefox 3.0.4 . This bug still happen when I enable customize Google firefox extension and disable all other extensions .
Hope you could fix this bug soon .

There are a problem with IMAGES.google.com
After the last update (to ver.0.76), there are a trash in links to websites.

For an example:
I'm have the option "Images->Rewrite links" enabled, and search for "keyword" on images.google.com:
http://images.google.com/images?q=keyword

After search, I have rewrited links:
1) direct links to images (its are ok);
2) links to webpages, which contain the images.
All links to webpages contained the such parameters att the end:
"&usg=__UyRBa5wqzU_7WNgYZyUkRUbtVzY="
so urls looks like:
http://johnbokma.com/firefox/keymarks-explained.html&usg=__UyRBa5wqzU_7WNgYZyUkRUbtVzY=
http://www.seotoons.com/2006/04/08/most-searched-keyword/&usg=__X3sYFsYqL5zRm30xBpDv6LFMVpU=
Why?
And we have links, which always will show "Error 404"....
Why this trash are added at the end?
HOW to disable/remove the unnecessary "&usg=__" paremeter from links?

(FireFox 2.0.0.14 ; all extensions are disabled, but the Customize Google is enabled).
The problem appear after update to version 0.76, but uninstalling and installing previous versions can't solve the problem already.

why I can't find "use https" in "google groups" of customize google.
I am a chinese ,I need https to go to google groups.But cuztomizeGoogle hasn't the option.

Great add-on, google so much more behaved. Be careful if you use google bookmarks, though. You need to disable the secure box in "history" or you will be unable to sync firefox to google.
