FWIW, I was going to wait for a 29.0.1 update but after less than 1 day I was really missing this. So I did the two add-ons listed several times below and it took all of 2 minutes and it's up and running again. It works.

I didn't realize how addicted to Forecastfox Weather I am! How ironic that Forecastfox is not compatible with FireFOX. Mozilla forced the new version 29 on us last night and...no more weather on my status bar! I am using something called "Ani-Weather", and I suppose some might like it, but I hate it. It's very limited in its customization capabilities, as are all of them out there...except FORECASTFOX.
PLEASE update SOON GUYS!!!!!! Jeez!

It keeps disappearing from the new addon bar every time I close the browser. So it doesn`t really works for me...

Very useful and easily configurable.

Can be used in FX 29 w/ addons like Classic Theme Restore, The Addon Bar, or The Puzzle Piece.

Feature request: add Relative Humidity and/or "Feels like" temperature in current conditions.

I've been using this for years and now (after FF update today, 5/6/14) FF keeps removing it from the addon bar (I added the extension to get the addon bar back). Still works great but I have to keep putting it back on addon bar. FF 29.0, Kubuntu 14.04.

I really enjoyed this add on, are there any plans to make it compatible with FF 29? I miss it.

This is one of the few addons that I used daily, even hourly.

It was always there in the lower toolbar, telling me the weather forecast.

Now Mozilla crams all my addons into the top address bar, as if that makes any sense, and ruins this wonderful addon because it's too big, as if that their decision.

I hope Forecastfox can find a way to come back, but until then I need to find something else. Maybe a new browser?

"Not available for Firefox 29.0" - I should drop one star for that. But anyone can have an off week, right? And although I can always stick my head out the window to make sure I won't get soaked on the way to work, it will be a good day when Forecastfox is up and running again.
