The idea is excellent & the addon is very useful. But having used it for quite some time, I have observed that this addon freezes Firefox while auto-switching to IE, for a few seconds. I am not sure if this is happening only for me, but I tried with & without the addon, but this problem is reproducible. Deserves a five star except for this problem.
@Developer: Any explanation or a fix? Plz help.
And a feature request: Is it possible to use the same switching rule top open specific sites in Chrome? While IE loads within FF, it is nice if chrome automatically opens for those defined sites.

This is a known issue with IE11. I suspect that the latest version of IE has some bugs in handling hosted WebBrowser controls. With IE8 it doesn't cause any freezes after long periods of use.

About the feature request: we don't have the plan, and will possibly never consider anything related to Google Chrome, because it's totally unrelated to the goal of this add-on. But if you wish to, you can write (or have someone write) a user chrome script or another add-on to do the job. Fire IE has the Public API that chrome code can use to obtain switch rules.

网站使用eWebEditor（2007年左右的版本）做在线编辑器，使用FireIE时（各个IE版本下）会出现提示“HTML编辑模式需要IE5.5以上版本的支持”， 编辑器的界面不能出现，而不能正常工作。 但IE11的兼容下能够正常工作。

建议检查编辑器是否支持IE11。

The other IE plugin I've been using for years wouldn't auto-switch anymore, so I came searching for an alternative. I'm glad I did - it's much better: does correct auto-switch, has Ad-block (fantastic!) and responds to regular Firefox keys.

比起IE tab来讲，可以使用鼠标手势和adblocks真是极好的，但是当我打开中国银行网银登陆页面时，初始化网银的安全控件时把我卡了足足30秒，真是有点郁闷，希望能够有所改进。

中行网银控件不合理的编码导致加载速度极慢，唯一的办法是关闭解雇IE的Adblock Plus支持。
此问题不会修复。

打开京东网站（jd.com）不定时有广告跳转现象，禁用FireIE就没有，因此基本确定是FireIE内置的广告。我不介意开发者插广告，不过麻烦开发者也坦诚一点，在描述中说明一下。广告收入支持开发，是完全可以理解，提前说明用户也放心，不用怀疑是不是给什么流氓插件强奸了。除此以外，这个插件是十分不错。

建议您检查是否有其他扩展/脚本作祟。

解雇IE是非盈利项目，从来没有内置任何广告，且源代码是完全公开的，不放心可以自行编译。

Best IE add-on I have found. Many of the sites I visit need to be viewed in IE. With this, just click the icon and you're in IE. Thank you so much for great add-on!

This add-on is indeed a drastic improvement compared to any other IE Tab-like addon. There is only one thing that makes me feel sad, it has too few users. Considering it high quality and a very large range of features it should have 1.000.000 users. Yuan Xulei, defenitely needs help promoting it.

Blows my mind. Five stars! A drastic improvement from IE Tab! I'd love to donate to you all, but seeing as you're in China, how is that possible? Any intermediary service to use? I'm sure you'd like support for doing the community a great service. I have this installed on my Windows boxes. Yes even in the states there are still rare sites by the government and large companies that demand I use IE. The killer feature this addon has is Adblock Plus support. Also the mouse gestures are a nice touch. But the cookie support was essential! Now I can switch engine without having to log out and back into a site.

It sits in the search field or omnibar. No need for another button on your toolbar. Works very well.

A last, an IE tab extension that works very well and I can trust!
Fire IE has a new name and is in a new league above the rest! Forget the others!

Maybe a way could be figured out to make LastPass work while using the IE Engine to perform auto log-ins? After all LP is similar to ABP, in that there's a LastPass for both IE and Firefox to do auto log-ins. If Fire IE had that, it would be perfect!

Keep up the good work and congratulations for a job well done!

All in one Gestures. works!
Adblock Plus. works!
simple fast easy icon next to the web address with customizable icon and text. HELLZ YA!!!!
and pages load faster than IE Tab!!

The best IE tab addon out there! However, having an option to open new tabs created from IE rendered tab in the background would be nice.

Fire-IE will respect the "browser.tabs.loadInBackground" config in next version, as well as modifier keys(Ctrl/Shift) when you click on the links.

Probably the best addon for Firefox to open tab in IE. IE Tab v2 doesn't share cookies, don't have Adblock support. IE Tab + have this features but has bad opinion (it was contained spyware)

Estava tendo problemas com o ie tab, eu testei outros similares mas a maioria parece estar desatualizado ou tem algum tipo de problema. O Fire IE funciona da mesma forma que o ie tab inclusive você pode desabilitar a sincronização com o firefox o que pelo menos p/ mim é um grande diferencial.
