the latest version crashes so often mostly if i download some files from filehosters nvh tries to collect them and after the tab is closed and maybe because xyou need captchas for getting the links after you open nvh its crashed , i think a option to exclude some sites or filetypes would be helpful because the new version collect archivfiles to like rar or zip i didnt know that archivs are videos i tryed to contact the devol. but never can send a message because i only get new captchas after captchas im not stupid to reead and write the captcha maybee the devel. will simply block bugreports

I've tried a lot of add ones for this cause and this one was the best, you can watch all day videos and it remembers everything you watched and you can download whatever you want, and it's easy to use

This DOES NOT WORK on youtube anymore.
Download does nothing, and Play just presents a message saying "Stream not Found!",

This add-on WILL download the videos, but generally lists videos by number instead of name, won't LET you rename (that I could tell) and like I said, you must have to sacrifice a goat on your keyboard or something to clear the list...."Remove" Clear All...etc..didn't do a thing, so there's this whole confusing list of videos picked up from every site you visit that make you cross-eyed after a while. (sporadically--and for no reason I could identify other than continued button clicking, it WOULD purge the list partially, for when I reopened it the list would be shortened...once ot twice, entirely clear...but it was very mysterious....)
NetVIdeo did beat DAP (what a headache) and FastVideoDownloader (which also never worked well) but it was just too cluttered, unresponsive.
I took a previous reviewer's advice and tried Karbon Downloader add-on..it is WAAAY simpler interface and much faster (has a speedup function that is excellent).
I'll go with Karbon .

Been using it for a long time, now I have to unistall. It's not the same addon as it was some time ago. For me it works only occasionally, does not detect all vids, all qualities... Became useless.

It's a working add-on, however I give it three stars because I have to constantly re-open the window because it doesn't refresh itself for new videos when the window is open.

Hi there! Great add-on, only one problem: it overwrites videos with same file name/title, without asking. Am using version 1.3. Hope you can fix this!

Excellent add-on!
I use it every day and it is of great help!
I can really download videos from youtube and youtube-like websites. I can also download almost almost all the music embed on sites.
I'm very fund of this add-on and I highly recommend it.
But, I give him only 4 stars because I observed it can't download videos from certain websites. For example, from rajshri.com. I don't know what type of video is there, but I observed that some video formats just can't be captured and downloaded with this add-on. And I don't know which add-on could help me. This thing is one very unpleasant surprise.
Anyway, till this problem is solved, I give it only 4 stars. If that feature will be added, then the add-on will be absolutely perfect!
Congrats for the developer for the good job, and keep it that way!

I just wanted to give a heads up that this app is the ONLY one that worked on YouTube. I've used Video DownloadHelper for years and it's worked fine until today for some reason. Tried two others that also failed. This one got the job done. Excellent work here.

I think it because what i install some firefox plugin.

This is one of the finest pieces of software I have ever used, bar none.
I struggled with half a dozen video "grabbers" that didn't live up to expectations before I was fortunate enough to find this one.
Net Video Hunter is simple and unobtrusive, and it has successfully grabbed every video I have tried. It even captures the filenames correctly--something that some others fail to do.
Five stars! I'd give it more if I could.
