Either it doesn't work with Flock or I'm missing something. Nothing on right click and see no option for toolbar etc. In fact, although attempting to re-install it results in a pop-up saying it's already there, I cannot see it listed in Flock's add-on extensions or plug-ins at all! So no clue how to uninstall it. Pronounce, however, works perfectly! Shame, as I rarely need help pronouncing words and hate having to jump to merriam-webster.com to grab the odd definition. Had high hopes! Pronounce will be a boon for my youngest child, however!

Some words require a subscription their site is far too busy, including flash that I don't need playing at work :(
WikiLook appears to be a better alternative: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:Firefox_Extension

While it does give you quite a few words, it is kind of annoying that you have to get an account for some of the more vague words. Definitions for those are all over the net at other free online dictionaries, so this one falls short of that.

great dictionary, poor toolbar.

Takes me right to the definition of the word I'm looking for, but when I right click I can only have the option if I replace 'Search Google' in the right click menu, as well as the search toolbar. Works well, but I'd prefer to keep my search toolbar Google, and have both Search Google and Search MW in the right click menu.

I don't know what some of the reviewers were talking about. It took me right to the definition.

This search extension does not take me to the definition, but to another mirriam page.

Not nearly as useful as the dictionary.com add-on. I registered on this site JUST to switch!

Merriam-Webster has free word pronunciations, unlike other dictionaries and that is just one feature that makes it superior. Thanks for reading.

Tells you that it knows the definition of the word and "click here to start your free trial." There are plenty of free dictionaries on the web. No one needs Webster.

Merriam Webster is very inferior when compared to Dictionary.com. M-W doesn't have entries for many words and many aren't clear.
Don't install this people. You can get the better Dictionary.com search plugin from their site's tools section.
Guess MW must've bribed Mozilla for making it official here.

The dictionary sitting on my desk is free all the time and faster than opening a tab.

A dictionary.com addon would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.
What I dislike about M-W is that 1) popups, which luckily firefox will automatically disable and 2) pronunciations take longer to load and also require the popping up of another window as opposed to dictionary.com pronunciations
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
