I assume the add-on works just fine, but before installing it, a simple question - why does it need a permission to "Have full, unrestricted access to Thunderbird, and your computer"? What does it mean?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.16).With TB78 the extension system changed towards MailExtensions which only allow access to TB via a subset of APIs. Those APIs are currently not enough to build TbSync. I therfore use a special API which gives me full access like I had with legacy extensions in TB68.

TbSync is a very good extension
TbSync and CategoryManager together form an excellent package, which greatly improves the use of Thunderbird.
One question: can a link be made with the addresses from one label from Google contacts?

Superb add-on but unfortunately broken again for gmail contacts with Thunderbird 80 which was released 2020-08-03.

I use tbsync for my gmail accounts. Works well though I do find the method of sending email to a group (aka list) slightly complex i.e. having to bring up the address book first etc. I'm thinking of switching to another email provider - mailbox.org. Does tbsync support their use?
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.16).Are you talking about the Category Manager? Why are you then downvoting TbSync?
Why are you at all downvoting TbSync, if you have question that you want to get answered?
Please contact the developer directly.

Hi John,
Thank you for your efforts with Tbsync addon, it makes our life much easier when we configure our MS Exchange accounts with TB. I'm currently using Tbsync 2.12 with TB 68.8 to access my MS Exchange mail. I notice there is no option to forward a meeting invitation if I'm not the organizer! I don't know if it is lightning or Tbsync who should provide this feature. Similar feature was available in old addon

This is a nice complement to sync several accounts.
Unfortunatelly, some days ago TbSync asks for Google permissions every time I open Thunderbird (idem for Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV). In addition, I cant access to Office365 calendars (they are in background at the Calendat Tab).
How can I solve this problem? Could it be related with the latest updates?

so I downloaded this based on some reviews of Lightening. I didn't realise this requires lightening, also since installing I can't dismiss any notifications from previous calendar events. If I set my sync time to 1 minute it reverts back to 30!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.12).The auto sync time switches back to 30min only for google, as google has a restriction how often per day TbSync may open a connection to google. This limit was crossed a few month back, so I had to limit the connection to every 30min. If I do not do that, no TbSync user can connect after the limit is reached (it is a daily limit).

Super Tool, schön wäre es noch wenn man zusätzliche Spalten im Adressbch einblenden kann.
