It doesn't work correctly with Firefox for Android. The entry does not appear in menu.

Love this addon, but aint working with nightly and mutliprocess

Please make it E10s compatible, sine this seems to be the one and only way to a unique window title to the "Authorization required" window. I couldnt find a alternative way as of yet.

Great little add-on, makes using keepass much easier. Unfortunately, it seems to break undo-close-tab in FF 49. When you try to re-open a tab, the content fails to load, and you get a blank white page with a progress spinner in the middle. Disabling this add-on fixes the problem. Damn!

Works as expected

Does a simple job and does it well.
Too the two reviews below about omitting the trailing /:
You could presumably switch to "Show full URL" in the options, but I supose that could be messy if you have a visible title bar.
Bearing that in mind, I think I have a simple work around that would block the sort of attempt KuttKatrea refers to:
The addon inputs a space and a user definable spacer (default is "-") after the hostname.
If you add a space and whatever the spacer is to the end of the URL in the field Keepass matches for autotype (either the Title or URL) in lieu of a trailing slash then this should stop it matching any hostname longer but containing the one intended.

Works, but as of the current version requires the KeePass URL to be missing the trailing slash.
I will second KuttKatrea in asking for at least an option to re-enable the trailing /.

Does the job. I have a little request, to include the trailing slash in short url format:
https://accounts.google.com/
Instead of:
http://accounts.google.com
Because the second form is prone to auto-phishing as it also can match:
http://accounts.google.community-hack.net
Thanks. I'm happy to report that this is implemented in the upcoming version (it's in Mozilla's review queue, it should be out "soon").

Confirm bug! Add-on doesn't work in firefox 32.0.3. Dear author please fix it! Thank you very much for this add-on!

All my KeePass Auto-Type-Window strings include the "URI Scheme" like (HTTPS). This was an option that has been removed in the latest (3.0.1) version. So none of the window strings match, and auto-type doesn't work anywhere. My choices were to manually change every one of my KeePass entries, or to install the older version. Fortunately, the older version (2.0.2) still works. Find it at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hostname-in-titlebar/versions/
Four stars because the addon is still really useful. Just don't mess things up for people by removing options!

KeePass Helper? You changed the options in the latest version and broke every single one of my KeePass auto-type entries. Why on earth would you do this? By all means add new options but don't ever take any old options away. Do you realise the implications of what you have done?

Doesn't work in Firefox 32.0.3 anymore. Before that, worked like a charm.

Great add-on to get more precise window title with auto-type function of KeePass.
Just a tip: if you using a Firefox variant not supported (like Cyberfox or Comodo IceDragon for example), just open the xpi file of the extension (it's a normal ZIP file) and edit the file HostnameInTitlebar_AppInfo.js.
Add the name of the program to the appNames[HostnameInTitlebar_AppInfo.FIREFOX] array.
So, the first lines in the file
appNames[HostnameInTitlebar_AppInfo.FIREFOX] = [
"Firefox",
"Iceweasel",
"Pale Moon"
to support Cyberfox for example, will be
appNames[HostnameInTitlebar_AppInfo.FIREFOX] = [
"Firefox",
"Iceweasel",
"Pale Moon",
"Cyberfox"
Save and restart, should work.

Great for time tracking applications that track your time based on titlebar text!

Essential. If the extension stop being updated I would switch to google chrome. The hostname isn't visible in title bar in latest firefox version but somehow keepass is still able to get the hostname.

v2.0.1 works just great as a keepass adjunct under Firefox 22.0.As a side-note though, although Comodo IceDragon 22.0.0.1 is firefox-based, it looks like this addon can't get access to IceDragon's toolbar. As web tracking, google/facebook etc profiling and invasiveness have grown over time, I've started using other browsers to provide 'logged-in' access, while remaining _logged-out_ in my primary browser. IceDragon makes a good option, because - other than this specific addon - it's pretty much fully compatible with your regular Firefox addons, bookmarks and other profile components, while maintaining a 100% separate profile & cookies. Thanks!

Perfect for using Keepass with Log In windows that say just "Log In" in the Title Bar.

Customize Titlebar has more options https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/customize-titlebar/
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0.1-signed.1-signed).That's why this add-on isn't called Customize Titlebar but Hostname in Titlebar.
