This has made my life a lot easier, saving huge amounts of time. The only thing I can't work out is how to send the emails to the local folders, to save clogging up my own inbox, drafts and outbox etc. Probably me being stupid but if anyone has any recommendations!?

I've been looking at CRM software but it's just way too complicated for what I want, then I find this little gem. Simple to use and does exactly what I want. Brilliant!

Great add-on. Works well, very simple, and no issues. Gotta love Thunderbird and the people making add-ons for us! Thank you1

Personal Mail worked like a
charm with CSV. Great addon!
Now I can send personalized mass
invitations to parties to my friends.

Finde ich super nützlich, gibt's auch die Möglichkeit für Personal Mail das Adressbuch direkt (ohne csv-export) zu benutzen? Bei mir klappt's nämlich mit CSV nicht.. :(

Great addon! Wish that the unsent mails due to erratic email address will be skipped and continue sending out the next unsent message, rather than pausing the whole queue of outgoing unsent messages.

Brilliant. A triumph!
I will happily donate to get image support included.

It is very useful. If it is able to support sending of embedded images, it would be perfect and wonderful.

This add-on is amazing! Been looking for something like that for ages! Only improvement would be some documentation also mentioning the limit of addresses per csv file (if any).

Alexander - this is a fantastic addon - thank you so much! I use a Mac and use TB because I can customise to have everything I need. I was only lacking the ability to mail merge in email and here it is! So easy to use and even the ability to include attachments is fantastic. I am a virtual assistant and do secretarial work from home for clients and this is invaluable - thank you!

- While sending, Mass Mail saves the originally composed e-mail to the drafts folder. So you have to delete it from there manually, because it remains there forever.
- Mass Mail should send the separated e-mails for each recipient automatically from the outbox. Currently the user needs to send the mails manually.

There is an unspecified limit on the number of email addresses it will support. If you don't know this and just keep trying to add the .csv file as a data source, you'll think the add-on doesn't work. I tried a .csv list with 407 names and I had to break it into 4 separate files to get it to work. Other than that, it works great; the documentation could be a bit better, that's all.

Thanks for the great extension.
Would like to know is it possible to add a 2nd email address in the "to:" or "cc:" field ?

Could it follow the rule of thunderbird apply on sending (html only, text only, or html + text) email based on the setting in the Tools > Options > Composition > General > Send Options (as it already have a list for sending what text format to other (text, html, or text + html) instead of the existing approach (another option in the addon)
This is good to jump to the "Local Folder -> outbox" after it finishes, so that new user don't need to waste time to check where the mail went to

A very nice extension, it is what i have been searching for for years. And it works with embedded images if you embed them with an internet link and not take them from the computer. I put my images on my homepageserver and link them and the recipients will see them.
Than you very much - danke

I'm new to Thunderbird, so it took awhile for me to figure out how this works. Many thanks to Alexander for spending so much time trying to help! Now that I know how to use the Personal Mail feature, this will be a great help!

Yes, it sounds like a very good add-on, unfortunately I can't use it for my needs because it doesn't support images in mail body, as said in the description of the add-on . Can't use a signature image or a product photo. It will be great and I will use with pleasure when it will have this option.

Great addon for sending small numbers of emails.
Just don't leave any spaces between field separators in your csv file when using the Personal Email option.

gefällt mir sehr! Noch ein Verbesserungsvorschlag: Die Namen müssen doch nicht aus einer *.csv Datei sein, könnten doch auch direkt aus dem Adressbuch kommen, oder?
