This add-on is a time saver! It's great to have my Google Calendar and Task in Thunderbird - right where I need them.

I accidentally deleted the Google Calendar tab, and now I can't get it back. I have removed and re-installed Open Google Calendar multiple times. I have deleted TB cookies, and even TB logon id/password for google, and it still won't give me the Google Calendar in a tab.
I am on TB 78.6.0 (32-bit) and Windows 7. When I reinstall Open Google Calendar, it gives me the icon on the mail toolbar, but clicking on it does nothing.
This is for Open Google Calendar version 1.6.
Please help. I really like this add-on, when it works.

I had the same problem with login to Google as https://addons.thunderbird.net/sk/thunderbird/addon/open-google-calendar/reviews/1163926/
The page said: "The browser you're using doesn't support JavaScript, or has JavaScript turned off."
The solution was quite simple. Instead of clicking the existing account on "Choose an account" page, I clicked "Add account" link. This allowed me to enter my google credentials again and everything worked fine.

A lifesaver for me, now that Provider doesn't work for Google Calendars in v78.4! This works great for me.
I had to reset cookies as per this https://support.cdn.mozilla.net/hi-IN/questions/1310945 after "upgrading" to 78.4, in order to get my email to work again. So maybe doing that will get Open Google Calendar to work properly too. No guarantees but it's worth a try.

Used to work, but with the new TB version this and all other Google calendar tab add-ons won't work. When i try to login to my account using this it gives and error saying "your browser doesn't support javascript".
Can anyone help?

The calendar does not work in Thunderbird 78. When you add a new calendar, it doesn't offer the Google Calendar option.

Works as intended - a little sparse on instruction to get up and running. Managed anyway.
One question: the text in the calendar is exceptionally small - maybe 8 point, Is it possible to adjust the text size to make it readable without a magnifying glass?
Lightning calendar text can be adjusted - I use about 12 point.

It seems that works with thunderbird 68, but still have some problems. If you have many google accounts it is not switch from one account calendar to the other. Instead open the new calendar to the browser...

This is a GREAT add-on and I've been using it for years in stead of Lightning, which is simply not great. Now that I've upgraded to Thunderbird 68, this no longer works. Can this please be fixed for the new version?

This is a great concept, and almost exactly what I need. However, I cannot get Tasks to work. They open for a second and then disappear, and I'm unable to get them to open again. Using Thunderbird 68.3 on Windows 7. Once Tasks work reliably, I'll gladly give 5 stars.

It does what it claims: opens the google calendar web page in a Thunderbird tab, and allows you to interact with the calendar in exactly the same manner you would with a web browser.
I started using this add-on only a month or so ago, when the "Provider for Google Calendar" add-on inexplicably stopped working for me; it repeatly asks to authenticate with google, but never manages to do so. "Open Google Calendar" filled the void, but unlike Lightning, only supports google calendar.
In late November, Open Google Calendar stopped working with the latest version of Thunderbird. I reverted to Thunderbird-60 and OpenGoogleCalendar-1.4 to continue access to my calendar in Thunderbird. Today, Ubuntu updated Thunderbird to version 68; lo and behold, Open Google Calandar still works! Checking the Thunderbird Add-Ons tab, it claims to be disabled, but it still opened up when Thunderbird started and appears to be fully functional. Go figure.
If there's one thing that prevented my giving 5 stars, it's that updates don't come in a particularly timely manner. But it's working, so I'm not complaining. Much.

Very good! Unfortunately, no longer compatible with Thunderbird 68.2. I hope there will be an update !!
