This does not install on Thunderbird 3RC1
Please update the code.
I would really like to see it in my Thunderbird, there is plenty of space on the bottom left corner.

When transferring a contact's vcard, it would be helpful to see that the contact has been added to the message with an icon or other.
Thanks, very useful add-on.

I can't seem to use any of these add-ons for my Thunderbird, they download saying 'executable jar file'. I have Windows 7 64 bit. Is this the issue or is it Thunderbird? Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

As is the case with previous posters, this add-on needs to be updated for those running the latest Thunderbird (Shredder) builds. Even the latest release (0.8 alpha) from the author's website does not work with the more recent Shredder builds. Please update so this wonderful add-on can be utilized once again by many.
I will say it is an absolute miss by the Mozilla crew that this functionality is not inherent in the core product.

Like previous posters, I am also running the latest versions of Thunderbird (Shredder) and the most recent 0.8alpha build available from the author's website does not work. Please update to restore compatibility as this is a wonderful add-on and for the Mozilla crew represents an absolute miss in the sense this functionality is not inherent in the core product.

Hi!
I've just realised a small BUG:-
1. get the address book on the Contacts Sidebar panel to list an LDAP directory
2. click on "Write" button
3. repeat the steps and you'll see the name lists get doubled each time....
Actual Results:
As above
Expected Results:
The name list should just be refreshed, and not doubling the contacts lists.
Thanks!

Nice plugin. I love it. Unfortunately, is not working for latest builds (20091015 Shredder/3.0pre). If author will be so nice to improve the compatibility, that will be great.

The extension is very useful and comfortable, but I think it misses some feature:
- I'd like to choose "contacts from all Address Books" in the Address Book field (instead single address books only). It would be a very useful feature for me.
- I'd like to put it beside folder's sidebar instead than under it (with wide screens I've much more horizontal space, and I use many folder so the folder's sidebar is very hight).

Being able to forward contacts to other people is a must-have feature on its own. A very useful extension.

Semplice e completa... Bel lavoro...

Extremely useful. Should be built into Thunderbird by default. Lists all your contacts into the mail screen itself rather than having to go to Tools > Address Book. Easily manage your contacts from right in the main screen.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
