This extension was awesome and always worked much better and more comfortable than the in-build remote Cal/Card DAV of Thunderbird.
Sadly noticing the owner has discontinued this project in favor of Thunderbird built-in functionality which isn't much better and comfortable than 3 years ago.

Grat Add-on!
The new Thunderbird (version 102) is supporting CalDav without an add-on.
Sad to see you go. Thank you for syncing so many contacts in all the passed years! :D

Merci de cet add-on, qui fut très utile mais ne l'est plus car intégré nativement à TB102 désormais.

Excellent add-on, but doesn't work for latest Thunderbird (102). An upgrade would be very much appreciated.

I have been financially involved in the development of Thunderbird for many years.
I add to the update requests to the latest version of Thunderbird. It’s one of the add-ons I always use. I think it’s helpful that Thunderbird understands it natively.

Provider CARDDAV CALDAV is not so good with Yahoo yet.
This looks as if it is going to be a very good add-on once it is working well. Unfortunately, Yahoo contacts support are not fully functional yet so CardBook, TbSync and Thunderbird CARDDAV address book does not work fully yet.
The best thing to do is export all your lists then import them to your email providers contacts one list at a time. I use all three but with different email providers to see which turns out to work best.

I use it with NextCloud and it works well, no problems, thank you.
I would appreciate OAUTH2 support so that I could use two-factor authentication.

I managed to get it to work with Thunderbird on my Macbook Pro M1. As my intended sync was with my iCloud account, I had to get apple app specific password.
For the benefit of others, you need to login with your appleid and your *app specific password* and NOT your appleid pw.
It work like a charm with my iCloud calendar and contacts BUT not the task (Apple's Reminders). The funny thing is that once I connected with my iCloud account, I can see my lists of reminders on iCloud. After successfully syncing my calendar and contacts, when I select the 2 lists I have on iCloud Reminders and do a sync, the 2 lists disappeared from the list of other calendars etc. No syncing took place (of course).
BTW, in Thunderbird, it seems I cannot create tasks under the iCloud calendar. Anyone can shed light on this limitation? (I am assuming this is a limitation, for some reasons)
If you select the icould option to setup your icoud account I specifically print that info about app password.

Does not work. Shows syncing but nothing is synced.
Strange that Thunderbird can't provide basic functionalities in the app inbuilt.
If eveolution can provide these basic services - one wonders why can't thunderbird!
