PLEASE update this to work on Thunderbird 6.0, it's a fantastic addition and I so miss it having updated to Thunderbird 6.0

Awesome and should be standard Thunderbird. As others note it doesn't work on a unified inbox, but it does fine on individual inboxes and that's good enough for me. I have a mailbox set aside for WiFi connection requests on our LAN and so it tends to fill up and I was finding a regular action was to mark all read using a right click, then Mark Folder Read. This saves me a click and navigate every time I do this, and is much appreciated.
I'm using it on 52.4 without any issues.

In unified view there is no "Mark folder as Read" on the root element, which would be the whole point for me for using this addon. Still thank you for your work.

Like the title says. It doesn't what it says. Maybe if you have only 1 mail account. But doesn't work with several accounts

Works well on individual mail accounts, however I'd really love to see it also work on the unified inbox. I have multiple email addresses and it would be fantastic to be able to mark them all as read at once rather than one-by-one.

I was looking for something that marks all emails as read, across all accounts and folders and subfolders, with one click on a button or context-menu
Unfortunately this extension doesn't do that currently (0.7.1)

The button works just fine and in the toolbar it looks fine. But in the context menu, when right-clicking a folder, it looks weird. It's displaced to the left as compared to the other items.

I'd like a "Mark Selected As Read" (for multiple selected messages and mutiple selected threads) as well!!!
Also it would be nice if there'd be a "Mark Selected As Unread" as well. With those additions the extension would simply the greatest! :-)

without marking all inboxes read it's kinda useless. just not what i expected.

Could use a Mark Selected As Read (equivalent to the Mark As Read menu item) button. Button texts could be shorter to more easily fit on toolbar as text instead of icons.

Love this button in Windows. However, since the 3.1 version it no longer works in Linux unless you run TB with su privileges. Otherwise it just doesn't appear.

Great program, should come standard with Thunderbird.
Please update to support Thunderbird 3.1, Thank you

My posting about the toolbar button missing was premature. It was placed there automatically (I assumed I had to do it manually).
On the smart folder issue, the report remains.

This toolbar button does not appear in the toolbar button dialog on Thunderbird Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.10) Gecko/20100512 Thunderbird/3.0.5
In past experience with this toolbar button, it will not mark all messages read when it is invoked while the cursor is over the (new) inbox collection. Therefore, with messages routed to multiple folders for organization by way of message rules, I must still click on each folder and mark all as read.
This and the toolbar fix would make Mark All Read perfect!
Thanks for the efforts.

I hoped this extension would mark read EVERY messages in every folder in every accounts! This way it is the same as right-clicking on a folder and choosing "Mark the folder as unread".
I don't see the usefulness of this extension this way, because it just replaces the right click.

Worked fine despite a failure installation warning. Also marked as "all read" or "none unread" one of my folders whose name on the folder panel was stuck to bold (after an importing operation from Microsoft Outlook) kinda TB bug because there was actually no unread message in it. Many thanks!!

Works GREAT! Isn't it nice when something actually does exactly what it promises? Though the suggested improvements have some merit, this is a VERY handy tool that will save me time and effort...as is! Many thanks to Mr. Baines.
